 I’ve read other reviews that say the same thing. But I stay with the brand because it matches my other countertop appliances. In other words, it looks good but if the longevity if this replacement is the same as the original one, it’ll only last a few years. Disappointing for the cost and brand that this particular small appliance is so flimsy

It comes right off so that if there are any remnants of food left on here, it's really simple and easy to wash your cuisinart design and then it is going to slip right back in place and you're ready to go for the next.   I had the part replaced under warranty to only discover it is not the part but the design of the on off button.  I simply applied a felt pad to the back of the lever. This gives the on off button a thicker and wider surface to contact. Problem solved

 Uses cans a lot so very handy. Nice that it was white which went with her decor. Call it a win! I love this can opener! I have terrible arthritis and have tried many other openers. This one is amazingly easy to operate
