It might look like a fixed blade but there’s more at play.

This is a tj schwartz design and i love the fact that after i got the email with the 2021 new stuff from crkt, i saw on youtube really quick about tj talking about the handle and why he did that.  He was like well, okay, hold on i'll, take a fixed blade and then i'll make the handle out of bike chain. Okay, that sounds good, but it works right. It'S weird as heck, and that's what crkt does best that's the thing that makes crkt different from the other companies making things in a lot of similar overseas factories right. They are doing weird stuff from good designers and it shows we end up with things that are like this

 Well, i i am pretty impressed with that choice. That was that was well done um, but, more importantly, it ends up being very carriable right. Let'S imagine that we take this guy off of the uh, the lanyard for a second here and uh come on there. We go take this guy off the landing for a second here, and then you put this guy, for instance, on your belt, or something like that

 Next thing the sheath on this guy is fine. It'S a little um. It'S a thermoplastic-y sort of affair, but it actually has pretty good um positive retention kind of clicks in there and it it definitely takes a little bit of doing to get this out of here i mean you can no problem, but it definitely is not one of Those sheets where you're gon na have the knife come flying out on some random base. Now this is a this sheath is absolutely right there, and so i appreciate that very much next thing, um and by the way the sheath comes with both a um, a little belt, clip that we'll talk about a little later, as well as a chunk of the Some kind of quarter or another which you can put around your uh around your neck or any other place that you'd like and have it, leave it hanging in there, and this is something that is securely enough in there that i think you can hang

 The steel is a little bit below par and the clip is assuming a very small belt, but at the same time i really i i think this is cool right um. Is it something that i'm gon na be like? Oh, my god, i'm carrying this every day. No not not remotely right, i'm not a small, fixed blade sort of person generally speaking, but i really do hope that we see more variants of this idea, because i think it is really interesting right, more variants of this with better steels in the future. That could be really interesting opening it up to other audiences, but mostly, i think it's neat that they went there right

 I am a little disappointed that it is not a better nakiri though. All that said, it's $20, and that's great value. The well built knife with steel liners, positive lock, silky wood scales and a nice, slicey blade made by a trusted company like Boker is an easy recommendation at this price point. If I can figure out a way to keep the sharp jimping from tearing up my hand and round the handle edges, this knife should serve me as well as knives that sell for double the price, but it's just not a nakiri

 And the handle ergonomics are not great. I don't have any problem with the large handle size, but the edges are a bit sharp in my hand. That can be easily fixed with a little sandpaper or even a grey scotch pad, so that's not really an issue for me either. What is an issue, however, is the jumping on the liner lock

Boker Magnum Outdoor Cuisine 3 Liner Lock Knife Review

The knife is ok for the price I paid for it, but the blade is very thin. The liner lock of one of the two I purchased is perfect, the other one very soft. I had the knife modded by a friend and that fixed the liner lock issue.

 The handle is five and a half right on from where I sit. The blade length is twelve and a half centimeters. The handle length is fourteen centimeters, so there we have it. The metric thing wasn't that difficult for me to do

 It has a oblong, Spidy type bowl, a liner lock. It'S got a tang that reads Magnum by Booker. You can see the Torx pivot on a stainless steel. Bolster the other side reads: 440 stainless, and you can see the ball for the detent the hole for the detent ball

 Okay, I'm just going to say this one more time from the angle that you're watching this the knife appears longer than the dimension. I'M going to read it's a distortion in the angle, but I'm reading it as accurately as I can. This blade is four and three-quarter inches. I know it looks like five Q

Take 2 - BOKER MAGNUM OUTDOOR CUISINE #3

 It is heavy. There is no pocket clip so IDI sing for me, probably not not to mention with the laws here yeah. They probably wouldn't like that blade that might make them a bit angry. So no, oh, I'm sorry! It is a liner lock, like I said, stainless steel frame liner

 I like the way those scales look. The handle length is five and a half inches. We'Ll put it up, it's got a really really nice four and three-quarter inch blade. I I love this love that blade

 Hq I did verify all the measurements. The only thing I haven't verified is the weight and, according to blade HQ, it weighs six ounces. So, let's find out five point knowing so yeah, that's as good as 6 ounces. Of course, my scale is probably not so no Serena
