Now you may have done this already, so this next part might be key for you, as it was for me. As the print starts extruding the purge line, and then the skirt/brim, look really really close at the filament being laid down. If it isn’t sticking at all right away, nozzle is almost definitely too far from the bed. If it’s sticking but not well, still probably too far

I have used various types of glue, heated the glass bed, used masking tape, slowed down the print speed, sped up the print speed, switched filament types, preheated my filament, dried out the filament, resealed it in bags when not in use, roughed up the build plate with \*super\* fine sandpaper, changed the infill percentage, changed slicing software - NOTHING has \*\*fucking\*\* worked, and I am \*super\* close to just throwing my shitty printer out into the trash so it can actually do something productive other than take up space in my garage and print spaghetti.

Any advice? Do I need an enclosure? I live in Nevada, there is literally \*\*no\*\* moisture present.

My God Damn Print Won't Stay Stuck to the Fucking Build Plate

 It'S still quite easy to turn, and this is where you want, because we want a really smooth motion. So, for the last few things all we need to do is plug in some connectors and there's actually only a few there's these two stepper motors. So quite simple. One here and then one on this side and then we have a large main wire and it has two plugs on it

 So it is smart enough to know not to put a hot nozzle into the bed. I'M really happy to see that kind of attention to detail all right. So it is 117 temperature and it's starting to go okay, so it actually touches the bed and takes its measurement like that really cool thinking about this guys. This might be the best way to do this, because not only will it be always accurate, since it's the nozzle, there should be a lot less issues with this kind of level

 So quite simple. One here and then one on this side and then we have a large main wire and it has two plugs on it. There'S one about halfway and that one will go right here and that's a junction box where everything is distributed to the end, stop switches and the motors so that'll plug in right here. Just like that, and the other end goes to the hot end, which is here right on top, you can see, there's a plug and that just simply plugs right into there

 Now you might want to go ahead and go around the printer and check all the bolts, because they do tighten them up really good at the factory, but over time, and also temperature changes can loosen them up a bit. So checking them is always a good idea. Make sure they're, nice and snug, so one of these was quite loose yeah this one's very loose, so there's four more on the other side, and these are very tight. So that's good! Now there are some more bolts that are underneath, and these are quite important if these are loose, the y axis can wobble back and forth so definitely check these underneath and make sure they're, nice and snug

If you are new to 3D printing, and are unsure of what to ask, try to include the following in your posts as a minimum:

* Your budget, set at a numeric amount. Saying "cheap," or "money is not a problem" is not an answer people can do much with. 3D printers can cost $100, they can cost $10,000,000, and anywhere in between. A rough idea of what you're looking for is essential to figuring out anything else.
* Your country of residence.
* If you are willing to build the printer from a kit, and what your level of experience is with electronic maintenance and construction if so.
* What you wish to do with the printer.
* Any extenuating circumstances that would restrict you from using machines that would otherwise fit your needs (limited space for the printer, enclosure requirement, must be purchased through educational intermediary, etc).

While this is by no means an exhaustive list of what can be included in your posts, these questions should help paint enough of a picture to get started. Don't be afraid to ask more questions, and never worry about asking too many. The people posting in this thread are here because they want to give advice, and any questions you have answered may be useful to others later on, when they read through this thread looking for answers of their own. Everyone here was new once, so chances are whoever is replying to you has a good idea of how you feel currently.

Additionally, a quick word on print quality: Most FDM/FFF (that is, filament based) printers are capable of approximately the same tolerances and print appearance, as the biggest limiting factor is in the nature of extruded plastic. **Asking if a machine has "good prints," or saying "I don't expect the best quality for $xxx" isn't actually relevant for the most part** with regards to these machines. Should you need additional detail and higher tolerances, you may want to explore SLA, DLP, and other photoresin options, as those *do* offer an increase in overall quality. If you are interested in resin machines, make sure you are aware of [how to use them safely](https://www.reddit.com/r/3DPrinting/wiki/resinprinting#wiki_safety). For these safety reasons we don't usually recommend a resin printer as someone's first printer.

I also see a lot of people reccomend the Prusia mk3s. OP, these are great printers but I want you to understand what you are paying for when you buy the printer. The I3 (bedflinger) design is one of the cheapest designs on the market and a Prusia mk3s probably costs about $500-$600 (US) in parts but the rest of the cost is people checking all the electrical components to see if they function properly, research and development into new iterations and for extensive, high quality customer support. If you buy the prebuilt then you will also be paying for someone to put the printer together and run a ~2 hour test print to make sure the thing works

I repair old electronics for fun, but I find broken parts often. I'd like to know a material type and printer that could print strong replacements pieces. For example, I have a Dreamcast controller with two broken triggers, if I could print replacements, that would be awesome.

 I have been using this machine a lot for nearly two weeks now and I'm very happy with it.  Details:  I needed a 3D printer not as a hobby, but because I need to prototype enclosures for electronic devices. As such, I wanted something reliable, that would work right out of the box with minimal fussing. I also wanted to be able to print using ABS and be able to print supports with soluble material

I really wanted to like this printer..

 I'm struggling to learn Cura for the BIBO and Sindoh's slicer was easy to pick up.  In terms of operational reliability, the Sindoh WAS at the top of my list before it broke itself. This Creator Pro is second on the list. I haven't had the BIBO for very long so it still gets babysat closely

 The included plate stickers work well, I haven't had any issues with prints not sticking or sticking too well to them.  Since this utilizes Flashprint slicer, I picked that right up since the Finder utilizes that slicer. I'm struggling to learn Cura for the BIBO and Sindoh's slicer was easy to pick up.  In terms of operational reliability, the Sindoh WAS at the top of my list before it broke itself

 If I step outside of the studio room, I can easily hear the Creator Pro, and faintly hear the BIBO. If I go upstairs, I can't hear the BIBO, but the Creator Pro's noises can faintly be heard through the HVAC vents. You won't notice it if there's white noise upstairs, but if the house is quiet, you'll hear the Creator Pro running no matter where you are in the house.  All said and done though, I don't regret buying this printer and would recommend it to a beginner who knows that 3D printers aren't magic boxes, and even an expert, given the community behind this printer and modifications available for it

 11. Try to print things vertically. Vertical printing is always more accuarte. Even if some instruction states to print something flat, always flip it vertically

 The blue stock print surface works great. Don't listen to all the idiot's out there that recomend all kinds of other stuff, glass, PEI, Kapton, etc. The key is keeping your surface clean. Clean with denatured alcohol after each print
