Creality CR-30 vs Sovol SV01

Not worth it for the price point IMO, but for what I need to make it works fine. Just be sure to keep the box so you can return it if need be. Be mindful that the belt quality varies from printer to printer (I bought two and one belt is higher quality than the other).

You should avoid the Ender 3 V2 you listed. Or avoid the Ender 3 series in general. That Ender 3 v2 is stupidly expensive for what it is worth at 280 dollars.

I have multiple belt based printers and by far this was the simplest setup out of all of them. Assembly takes less than 1 hour as most of the machine is pre-built. If you got one of the creality wifi boxes for it do your self a favor and throw it away. It was easy for us to setup the printer at my local maker space using a raspberry pi and web cam

The sovol 1 has the thermal runaway problems and the broken nozzle problem. Both printers have nice upgrades you can get for a better ease of use but all the plugs on the motherboard are hotglued in so you risk hurting the motherboard when trying to install and that doesn't seem use friendly I've had to use the return service on both of them but the sovol 3 still has a wobbly nozzle issue and the sovol 1s nozzle still broke off in the hot end while replacing. I will not be buying from sovol again I wish you luck and hope you get on of there more cared for production models.

I think it's a terrific price, if creality can mass produce and deliver at this quality level or better, i'm hoping all of the work up front is going ...

It is built with quality parts and the machine was done well. I didn't find any miss drills or missing or stripped screws. I did make a minor adjustment to the z alignment in relation to the base frame, a couple of mm. This put the two z lead screws more in sync
