 Not worth it for the price point IMO, but for what I need to make it works fine. Just be sure to keep the box so you can return it if need be. Be mindful that the belt quality varies from printer to printer (I bought two and one belt is higher quality than the other).

For the price I expected it to work properly put of the box. I was wrong

I have multiple belt based printers and by far this was the simplest setup out of all of them. Assembly takes less than 1 hour as most of the machine is pre-built. If you got one of the creality wifi boxes for it do your self a favor and throw it away. It was easy for us to setup the printer at my local maker space using a raspberry pi and web cam

Only hard part was leveling.

 I think it's a terrific price, if creality can mass produce and deliver at this quality level or better, i'm hoping all of the work up front is going to pay off. Creality is consulting with carl, who you know created the white night belt. Printer and they've also sent one off to bill steele who, in 2015, through polar 3d, created his own belt printer machine naomi has sent the machine not only to me, but also to chuck hellebuck angus at maker's muse, uncle jesse and matthew at design prototype test, and We have all given lots of feedback hoping to make what the backers receive be. The best machine possible naomi also send a machine to filament frenzy to specifically create tuned filament profiles that will be included with the machine when backers get it and thankfully scott the maintainer of marlin also got a cr-30, so firmware could be updated and brought to a Level that will take full advantage of the hardware platform

 At the time of filming, the kickstarter is still open, and the price for this right here is 688 u.s for the build quality and what you're getting.  Most of the stuff that was missing is easy enough to replace so I'm more concerned that the printer itself works as it should. Currently I'm printing the test dog and everything seems to be going good. It's pretty much just a coaster right now as only the base is done. I guess I learned my lesson about waiting so long to open stuff like this

Either way when you shop around and pay full price for a new item then that is what you should expect to be delivered to your door. Make sure you get it set up before the return window closes...

This is the first Creality product I've ever bought, and the last I will ever waste money on. I've had six different printers now and this has more problems than every other one combined. The repeatable failure is a massive layer shift on the X axis at the same layer, in the same direction, with the same distance every time; the bed doesn't move, I've tried adjusting the belt tension, the carriage tension, and different code from different computers, different SD cards, and different filament, but nothing has fixed this. This is the final straw and I just don't want to deal with this printer anymore

Repeatable print failure, possibly overheating driver

 I think if you buy this printer and invest the extra money you were going to pay for a more expensive printer into some upgrades for this one, you will still be happier overall with this printer in the long run. People call this an entry level printer, but with the out-of-box quality combined with room to upgrade you can't beat the price.
