I like the clean, sleek look of the humidifier. The quietness with which it operates is also a plus. Occasionally, I can hear the water gurgle but that's because I have highly sensitive hearing. However, it doesn't disturb my sleep in the slightest

Use a little juice from a lemon on a cotton swab to wipe off the scale. The acid in the juice will dissolve it. Then use a new cotton swab dipped in a baking soda solution to neutralize the acid and run the unit to clear. The swab was moist, not dripping

I bought these humidifiers on sale, and they have held up very well. I don't think I will purchase again in the future, though, as I'm sick of cleaning the dang things. They really do get slimy fast. So next time I'll opt for one that has a filter

I neglected to use distilled water and have tried my darndest to clean both the inside and top of the disc with white vinegar swab (soaked and let sit an hour), but can only get a very fine mist now and the top of the device feels warm like it’s working too hard. I love how portable it is and have taken just the unit (used cup at friend’s house) on trips out to Utah and put it on at night time (out of arms reach). Purchased mine in January 2019. Would probably still be going if I did not use hard water…

It is easier to clean than my other humidifier, but it does still have some hard to reach places. I would repurchase this over my other humidifier though so I think this is worth it.

This product won't work without the wick or a dry wick. You'll have to use a soaking wet wick. I poured in a full cup of water, please ensure the top part of it (with the led red/ blue light) never submerges below the water. Normally, if using the cup it comes with the grep top of the cup has a cover which stops it from ever submerging or used incorrectly

I filled the water tank and placed it to work on the Low mist setting ONLY. The tank was empty after exactly 27 hours. Yes, it worked great, very quiet, and efficient for 27 nonstop hours! So, 40? Not in this world, no matter what you do to it. Of course, it will work even less on the Medium and the High settings, but I went with the Low only

Soak the filter for 30 minutes or so before use, and squeeze out the filter before packing it away for your trip back home.

I am happy with the unit. I use a brita water filter for the water that i use. Its just tough to clean it after some time. I am happy with the product
