I've looked pretty extensively at the best value purifiers in terms of cost to CADR rato and found the winners to be the Coway Mighty AP-1512HH (note: NOT the AirMega) and the Blue air 211+. These models get high ratings from consumer reports and Wirecutter as well. I have 2 of the mighties for our bedrooms and a 211+ for our living room and have been happy with them. 

Looking for some personal recommendations from people running air purifiers in there home because im looking to buy one. Any advice or feedback is welcome

Edit2: Im looking for the best model possible for HEPA filtration and a carbon solution for gas/VOC/odor. that would hopefully work for most of the house. I will eventually add another unit or two to supplement. I&#39;m trying to find the top of the line, best of the best air purifier. Something that blows the competition out of the water and has a solid warranty and build quality. High purchase price is okay.

 It turns on higher when needed, when it detects odors and impurities in the air (just now, when my son is making popcorn, it kicked on). It's a powerhouse that works really well. I also like that it's compact and has a nice sleek look to it. It blends into the decor and I'm really glad it's not black

Noticeable improvement

 I keep mine in "auto" mode and that really works - if any type of particulate matter is introduced to the room (like cigar smoke, for instance) the unit goes into high gear until the air is clean again. I am quite pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend this product.

Purchased the Mi Air purifier after doing some research on which purifier would be best to help alleviate my husband's allergies and so glad I went with the Mi.  In the past we've purchased other more expensive and much more bulkier humidifiers so I was shocked to see how slim and sleek the Mi humidifier was when we unpacked the box. The smartest feature is available in the MI Home which is the adjustable fan speed. If you don't like fan noise, you can adjust it here to your liking and still move considerable amount of air quietly
