I've looked pretty extensively at the best value purifiers in terms of cost to CADR rato and found the winners to be the Coway Mighty AP-1512HH (note: NOT the AirMega) and the Blue air 211+. These models get high ratings from consumer reports and Wirecutter as well. I have 2 of the mighties for our bedrooms and a 211+ for our living room and have been happy with them. 

Looking for some personal recommendations from people running air purifiers in there home because im looking to buy one. Any advice or feedback is welcome

Edit2: Im looking for the best model possible for HEPA filtration and a carbon solution for gas/VOC/odor. that would hopefully work for most of the house. I will eventually add another unit or two to supplement. I&#39;m trying to find the top of the line, best of the best air purifier. Something that blows the competition out of the water and has a solid warranty and build quality. High purchase price is okay.

 I keep mine in "auto" mode and that really works - if any type of particulate matter is introduced to the room (like cigar smoke, for instance) the unit goes into high gear until the air is clean again. I am quite pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend this product.

 That all said I do like the AM90 and it works well, is quiet and being able to control it from my phone is Convenient. I replaced an old honey well which was noisier and had no remote capabilities.

 One reason to not give apple back your old devices, so you can use them to enable WiFi on the older tech. Hopefully Winix will update their app and others don’t have to go through the pains of WiFi setup. So far so good. Bought one of these a few months ago, initially since my wife and I seem to have developed greater sensitivity to spring pollen, which has been particularly heavy this year. Based on early positive perceptions of the first unit located in our bedroom, I bought 2 more to locate in other parts of the house where we tend to plant ourselves during the day. First unit came with broken controller board for WiFi and WINIX rep was easy to contact and very helpful in quickly shipping out replacement unit

Units run well and quietly.  Service was very positive.

 I just want dust particles scooped up.  The auto night time mode is finicky since it reacts to electric light, but I'd rather have it on than go into super low power mode anyway. The lowest fan setting above night time mode doesn't bother me. In fact, it's probably better than dead silence

  Changing the filters is relatively simple and straight forward.  Haven't tried the wifi yet.. I didn't really buy it so it could auto order filters though

  The max fan speed seems pretty powerful, although I haven't had to use it manually. It has kicked in a few times though, when someone passed gas or used a lot of hand sanitizer near the unit lol.  Whatever the case, I pretty much use it as a standard air purifier and it does the job, while looking a whole lot better than most other units out there. It's stylish
