I actually wore this around Ecuador (hiking Cotopaxi volcanoe) in the winter and have travelled elsewhere in the world with this jacket. I have put it to some extreme tests and it has held up really well. It’s very light and surprisingly warm! I would definitely recommend this jacket. However, do be very careful with the zipper when packing it into the small portable pocket square for storage

Other than this the jacket is very durable and you can feel good about wearing it since it is from recycled/up-cycled material. Lastly, I agree with another review that said the hood fits weird and falls down over your eyes. 

 But the stitches in one of the pockets has ripped open (a little too easily if you ask me). And most importantly..

Fashion and Function!

 I ended up buying two of these because I live in a cold state (Alaska), where you have to wear a jacket most of the year. These are much cheaper than alternatives and this jacket essentially becomes two when you reverse it. 

The fit is pretty fitted, if not a little boxy/generic. I'd say it ran a little large for me, only because I'm used to a drop-tail hem. Most of the fitting I believe is due to the fact that it is reversible.

Plenty of Options

Only problem is the size. A large runs almost like a medium. It is a very slim and athletic fit, which looks nice, but is not the best for layering.

 It's not gonna be heavy layers underneath this thing. Perhaps a Proton Fl, maybe an Atom Sl, Maybe a fleece like a Delta or a Kyanite fleece would fit under this. Nice, but certainly nothing heavy, right? We're not putting like a you know, Ethereum, Ar, or I think. I'm sure even a Um

 I do have an Incendo, which is another running jacket. I'm going to do a review on that one as well that definitely is much lighter than this, but this is certainly not heavy. It's probably somewhere similar to like a 40 denier gore-tex hard shell. Maybe like a beta Lt, right? Something Something like that is probably that similar kind of weight

 They're lined with that mesh so they are kind of breathable as well. If you open these pockets, it will also allow some of the hot air to escape that way. Inside the right hand pocket. There is like a little pocket kind of pouch in within itself

 Today we are looking at the Arterix Trino Sl. so this is a really cool jacket. It's a little bit different. It is made of two different fabrics

 Through the use of various materials, wind protection is a focus on the chest and the tops of the arms and breathability is the focus on the underarms in the back. I Have to say this is by far the best running jacket I've had in terms of keeping me warm during winter running. both aspects that also have stretch to the fabric allowing for movement without any restrictions or rubbing at any of the scenes. Overall a very comfortable winter running jacket

UK reviewer / weather. I've had this for nearly a year now and, for me, it's a near perfect, understated, utilitarian and adaptable everyday jacket. Midsummer aside, I've warn it virtually every day since it was delivered. I usually go for trim fitting Arc'teryx gear as I'm relatively tall, slim/athletic build, and often find regular fitting gear leaves too much spare material around my waist / lower back

Near perfect, everyday jacket

Fit – I’m 5’ 9” and 140lbs, and quite slim and based on the sizing guide I went with the Medium. A small would have been a better option and would have still allowed for a base and a heavy fleece or merino mid layer for when it’s -10 and below. It really is a trim fit; a next-to-skin fit would be more ideal for performance XC skiing.

First impressions - The SL (superlight) classification is not a joke; the first thing you notice when picking up this jacket is how incredibly light it is. Even tossing the tags away makes a difference when holding it to see how it weighs. At 320g, it is significantly lighter than all the other brands I was considering, which were in the 450-500g range.
