Cosori Pro Air Fryer vs West Bend AFWB12BK13

Note to all: DONT use oven cleaner on it even though I came across a thread where people recommended using it. The grease indeed did come off, but at that cost of the non stick coating.

Used the West Bend air fryer to make French fries and fried chicken legs and wings. No messy grease and greasy taste. I was wonderful and a very healthy choice. Chicken legs and wings came out well done and crispy and so did the French fries

First off, I absolutely hate cooking. I don't like the mess. It takes too much time. My recipes never turn out like they show in the cookbooks

The grates are easy to clean though. The temp settings take twice as long to cook than my cheaper one. Not my best buy

It’s a different way to cook, but what I’ve cooked so far, I like. I’ve fried chicken, steaks, jalapeño poppers, and even breaded red fish. Guess the only drawback with the fryer is the size. The basket is big for baskets, but if your cooking for several people, (more than 2), you have to cook in stages

When I got this and set it up to compare with our Instant Pot Vortex Plus air fryer oven, which we love, it looked smaller. The window is smaller, so it's a little harder to see how your dish is coming along, but when you open it up and put a pan inside, you find it's actually about an inch larger. That means that a tart pan that I wanted to use but couldn't get into my Instant Pot, fits this oven. Even just a little bit more space can make a big difference in what you can cook in one of these wonderful little ovens

It produces such a clean taste. Definitely for someone who has health issues that greasy foods would aggravate and exacerbate. Should’ve gotten this a long time ago. Saves time and energy and it tastes better

I think it's a healthy way to cook and it is pretty fast. This air fryer can also bake, dehydrate and reheat all of which I have not tried yet as I've only had it a week.
