Cosori Pro Air Fryer vs Maximatic EAF4700

Once I realized my hatred for the Cuisinart would never be cured, I bought the Cosori XL basket fryer and I love it. I’m now able to follow recipes and air fry things without them burning to a crisp. Did I mention that I hate the Cuisinart?

One concern is the little clear plastic piece that is used to pop out the fryer basket is very flimsy and broke the first time I used it. Still able to use the fryer as intended but will be looking to obtain a replacement piece.

Note to all: DONT use oven cleaner on it even though I came across a thread where people recommended using it. The grease indeed did come off, but at that cost of the non stick coating.

Easy to clean, and once you get the hang of it EVERYTHING tastes better! No grease, crispy, and delicious every time now. Well worth the $. Just wish I knew they have a turquoise/mint (favorite color) one now. Oh well…

First off, I absolutely hate cooking. I don't like the mess. It takes too much time. My recipes never turn out like they show in the cookbooks

I’m going to use it to mainly heat up already cooked or mostly cooked food since it takes forever. But if you don’t have a grill or an oven, it turns out a decent piece of meat or heats up your left over fries from lunch.

It’s a different way to cook, but what I’ve cooked so far, I like. I’ve fried chicken, steaks, jalapeño poppers, and even breaded red fish. Guess the only drawback with the fryer is the size. The basket is big for baskets, but if your cooking for several people, (more than 2), you have to cook in stages

This looks like a Barbie of and it was so small so I had to return it. It was just like why I couldn’t even imagine if I was living in a dorm by myself what I could cook and except maybe a Barbie cake

The instructions state that you must always preheat the fryer before using, and by doing that, I have had success with a variety of foods. However, one thing to note: you must always select a preset [steak, vegetable, chicken, etc.] and then adjust the temperature or time to your liking; you cannot simply set a temperature or time. The automatic pause halfway through cooking in order to shake/flip your food only works [beeps & turns off heat] if you do not adjust the preset times/temps

The temperature scale is difficult to use. The old 2qt unit was great, this one is disappointing. Too bad the knobs and scale fell off the old one.

It produces such a clean taste. Definitely for someone who has health issues that greasy foods would aggravate and exacerbate. Should’ve gotten this a long time ago. Saves time and energy and it tastes better

it's has 7 quick function that's allows me to prepare easy and fast healthy food for my family .it has an indicator light that let you know when it's heating up the digital include 60 mins timer signal bell stop pause function I love the frying basket and it come with handle allows you to safely and easy to remove the basket so it's perfect to have in my home I'm enjoying everything about this incredible product lightweight easy to clean good quality excellent value love the design and shape of this product it play a big part of my healthy diet and life style for my family.

Cosori for whatever reason utilize a paper-weight electrical lead cable for an air fryer rated at 1500 watts which also does not include a ground pin. Why Cosori? The plastic-like odor people are experiencing while using the air fryer is not coming from the air fryer, but from that thin electrical lead cable which is getting hot while the air fryer is in use. Over time, the lead cable is likely to wear out and likely burn out. Please Cosori for the next iteration of this air fryer, take a page from Panasonic microwaves, study the heavy gauge lead cables they utilize for their 1200 watt rated microwave ovens and utilize something similar especially for a 1500 watt rated air fryer such as this one

After the second 15 min cooking session. The combined 30 minutes of run time consumed 22% (started at 44% and ended at 22% state of charge) of the battery in the power station. That was 880Wh X 22% = 194 Wh of energy. The bowl before cleaning

Now I have more access to my oven for baking larger amounts of food. Also great when you need to bake more than 1 thing at once.

At the sound of the ding, the chicken wings were definitely not done. They were not brown, they were not crisp. We gave them another 24 minutes at 390 degrees, and YUMMY! Next time, we will fiddle with the time to see if something less than 48 minutes (24x2) would be long enough. So, yes, it's great with two chicken wings; but not at the time the instructions call for
