Cleaning is pretty easy except the “gill” design on the sides of the basket are a challenge. We’ve had to tighten the handle screws several times and yesterday the plastic surrounding the screws disintegrated so now there’s no way to attach it. I’ve submitted a report to the company as I’ve read this is a common issue. I will update this review if I receive a response

The instructions do tell you to run the machine once without putting food in it but even after a week of solid use I can still smell and taste it in our food. I've cleaned the basket numerous times but it doesn't help. I gave it 3 stars for easy to clean because the smell alone. The basket is easy to take out and clean

I had less hassle did not need to heat up the house using the oven and it was easy to do. I did fries which I will say nobody thought would be as good but they were proven wrong and they loved them. Its so easy even my husband was able to figure out and he usually doesn't like my kitchen gadgets but guess who has been using it yep my husband. It really makes healthy cooking easier and so I like that I can keep everyone happy and healthy at the same time

The following day I used it and the plastic smell was gone. So far I’ve made hot wings, salmon (defrosted) , steak fries (frozen) , and boneless chicken thighs. It’s so much faster than using an oven and healthier than using a deep fryer. I’ve saved so much time using this air fryer

The analog temp and timer are not exact sciences but neither is this way of cooking. I timed 3 different cooks at 10 min each, setting the mark dead on 10 each time. One was 9 min, then 12 min and 13 min. I would definitely suggest one with more exact controls but love this and use it 4‐5x per week

The first I had at 8 minutes and that was too long, the sandwich was overcooked. But when I got the time down it made a GREAT grilled ham and cheese. Easy to clean. I just washed the grate in warm soapy water and wiped the pan out with a paper towel after each use

Even though you may be following a recipe, you may want to be conservative with the time so you don't accidentally burn something. 3) Leave some space on the sides of air fryer. It hasn't melted anything on my counter, but the areas immediately on the back right and back left of the item do get warm.

One review mentioned noise - it does make a humming noise but this is not too loud or bothersome. I wish it came with more recipes but the ones that are in the book give you a general idea of temperature and timing. I will tell you, do not overcook. This fryer cooks food real quick and it is easy to think that you need more time when you don't

The only thing I dislike is how loud the beep is, and how many times it beeps when food is done or when you turn it on. But other than that we love it! It’s very sleek looking and I love the way it looks on our counter.
