Size

Rock solid quality air fryer!

3 exclusive for Macy but I had to return it due to the quality/ size concern. Eventually going back to my favorite pressure cooker brand cosori and I found this widget. A bit bigger than I used to have, voltage is my main concern, but it square out when I actually used it. Fried Chickens received compliments from my wife and daughter

Disappointing, very disappointing!

foget it! Can't do air fried chicken and fries at the same time for a family...way too small

Nonstick Surface

Best Air Fryer on the Market!

She noticed many of them had baskets that the non stick flaked off just after a few uses so she has informed me that this one has a great coating. I think it may be ceramic but anyway she says it is a breeze to clean. She thought it was making weird noises so she contacted Customer Support and within a few hours she had a response. They asked her to video tape the unit in operation and once reviewing the video they got right back to her and said it was normal so we know they stand behind their products

Attractive and works well

Not burning hot. I’m giving mine some breathing room in the corner of the countertop against the granite backsplash and under the cupboards sitting diagonally. This unit is replacing an ‘egg’ style air fryer we’ve had for probably 4 years with heavy use from the kids. Those are nearly impossible to keep clean, and frankly don’t cook well

Cooking Time

My New Head Chef - Does All My Cooking for Me

First off, I absolutely hate cooking. I don't like the mess. It takes too much time. My recipes never turn out like they show in the cookbooks

READ WARNINGS, terrible burning plastic smell and bad instructions, even months later

Third, the manual doesn't really seem to have correct cooking times. To be fair, my George Foreman Grill isn't perfect on that score either. I used it once, so Im not returning it right away, and will write more, if, as and when my thoughts change, including if I decide to return it.

Baking

Great first impressions -

F. At 3 minutes remaining, I pulled the basket out and checked them with the intent of flipping them over. But I decided to wait and see what the end result if they weren't flipped. I was very surprised to see the end result were biscuits that looked as if they had been cooked in a conventional oven

Challenging to use if you don't already know how

The pork chops I breaded and baked came out tough and unevenly cooked, even though I marinated them four hours before cooking. I had to rotate them every time I turned around and that made a royal mess. I'm hoping I can find better instructions and learn to love it, but it's a steep learning curve so far.

Temperature

Works very well. Some mixed results on certain items that I need to figure out.

I wish the temp could go about 50 degrees higher overall, but it works pretty well regardless and it's far less messy than an actual grease deep fryer and uses less oil.

Plastic pieces, melted plastic smell.

Also, the air vent is in the back of the unit so keep it several inches (like 10 inches) from the back wall, to prevent it from getting too hot. Part of the appeal of this air fryer is not using the oven, but it's blowing out hot air the entire time it's on, so it still warms up the kitchen.

Frying Basket

Good air fryer, but read the phone app permissions

There are a few things I would like to see improved on this air fryer. The handle which attaches the inner basket to the lower basket feels like it will not stand the test of time. I think this would be better if the inner basket and its handle were one solid piece instead of a plastic handle fastened to the basket. The clear plastic piece covering the button which releases the inner basket from the lower basket feels like it is about to fall off at any moment

I absolutely love mine! I’ve had it since 2019. The fry basket is awesome. Roasting chicken is great. It’s easy to use and easy to clean
