I have smaller hands for a guy (sad), and I tend to grip the mouse with my ring and thumb a bit more. I made so many mis-clicks on the right click with this mouse it drove me insane. I can only assume it's because of my grip or how I rest my hand on the mouse, but it was annoying enough to make me look for another alternative. Definitely try one out if you can and see if it works

On the inside, the Sabre RGB Pro has a strong Pixart PMW3392 sensor that tracks at up to 18,000 DPI and stays accurate up to 450 inches per second. That’s not a huge upgrade over a standard gaming mouse, but it’s more than I’d expect from an input device in its general, not-quite-budget price range.

The primary upgrades to the Scimitar RGB Elite are internal, optimizing the mouse for increased accuracy and durability. The new PixArt PMW3391 sensor tracks movement at up to 18,000 dots per inch and at up to 400 inches per second. The latter is within an acceptable range, especially when you consider that the Scimitar isn't designed for sustained, rapid movement. That said, it's toward the low end of what we've come to expect from high-end mice in 2020

Scroll wheel is fine, rolls nice enough, feels almost like a glorious scroll wheel, just a tad louder. Shape was kinda interesting. Its a similar concept to the NP-01. Ambi shape + flare on the right side for your fingers to rest on, its not bad actually, just a-little bigger than i’d like

The shape is very close to a Kone Pure Ultra, just scaled up about 125% and not as extreme with the side grooves. It’s great for palm grip in a relaxed hand and the side buttons are placed exactly where they need to be to click them with your thumb without causing hand strain to build up over time. Combine that with the light weight (relative to the competition) and medium-light, snappy buttons and I can play a solid 6-8 hours without making my hand and wrist feel like shit.

When I got it i was super excited, btw im a pro fortnite player, so I use this for school and mostly for gaming. It fits my medium sized hands well, but here is were the problem starts. The scroll wheel sometimes doesn't register in wireless mode and wired, but it is worse in wireless mode. Also sometimes the mouse clicks with me applying no pressure to the mouse, and the last problem is sometimes the sensor just stops sensing

Mouse feet are decent, not as good as my model O's or hyperglides but it's hard to judge because of the weight and drag issue. Scroll wheel seems doomed to break. It looks awesome though. But it doesn't feel too solid and others have reported it breaking on them consistently

I just said screw it. I bought a Razer Trinity and Ornata V2. The Trinity and the software are miles, lightyeeeaarrss, better than the Corsair products.

**Battery life:** Not based on specs, but rather my impression based on regular use. Don’t read too much into this one.

The mouse itself works quite well, but it has a short battery life. I have to charge it about once a week whereas other mice last 3 to 4 times as long. It also takes several seconds to wake up from sleep, it's quite noticeable. The mouse is responsive and tracks well

The mouse feels responsive, the buttons feel good, and the cable has zero resistance. The nuberpad buttons are all at slightly different angles, so it's easy to feel the buttons you want to press. I'm not enough of a mouse expert to say much more than that.

The battery life has always been pretty mediocre as well. I keep going back to my Death Adder I’ve had for years because it still works like new and this thing crapped out in under a year.

When haptic is enabled, battery lasts max 3 hours, instead of advertised 8 hours time. Connection drops after moving 5-6 meters, maybe even less.

Both Razer and Logitech have since made general upkeep of those devices difficult with shoddy programs like Synapse and whatever Logitechs most recent awful software is I don't want to recall. The Scimitar by comparison has made set up of keys very easy with ridiculously intuitive set up and unparalleled customizability compared to my previous mice. On top of that, the killer feature of the Scimitar for me was the ability to get DPI by single digits. If you don't understand what that means, when you set a DPI on your mouse, it dictates how far your cursor will move in relation to how far you move your mouse

Despite the high quality of its cable, it's relatively stiff and causes some drag on mousepads and desks. Also, because of its size, it isn't well-suited for small hands using a fingertip grip, while extra-large hands may find it too short to use comfortably with a palm grip. That said, it's the best MMO mouse for gaming if you're a die-hard wired connection fan, and it's one of the best wired mice we've tested.
