 I did say it was gonna be the 4000 D I did think it was the 4000 D. It's not it's the X the D has got a mesh front the X has got a glass front However, this is what we've got. I'm sorry. I'll try to get a 4000 D for a future episode But out of the box it comes with these three beautiful RGB Corsair fans at the front But no exhaust Anyway, just the three fans at the front

 They will be on there go look at those episodes really really interesting But today it is the Corsair 4000X. Let's get started So as always we're gonna start running the Furmark GPU stress test and CPU burner stress test this will push the CPU and GPU to 100% And then we can start checking for some temperatures It's not kind of real world. It does push it a lot harder than when you're actually gaming So these temperatures probably will be a lot higher than when you're gaming But what it does is it gives us a good idea of how the fans are working and the air temperature actually inside the case So you can see this is a GPU temperature graph. It's going up We just need that to become like a little bit of a steady line

5 Let's see what this is saying now 32.2 calling it So yeah, we can see actually by removing one of the fans at the top and just having a single exhaust The air temperature inside is relatively steady within a couple of points of a degree and actually it's slightly cooler At the back, which is kind of what we want because that's where all the hot stuff is So again, you know, we can definitely see the fog feeding the gpu fans there. So that's working perfectly And what we can also see is the air here isn't escaping out the top as quickly as it was And we do have a flow of air Feeding the both the exhaust but also the cpu as well Well, and what isn't happening that was happening with the previous configurations with the two fans at the top Is the air that immediately comes in isn't getting immediately exhausted But I actually think with this particular case the best use case for the top Probably be with an aio So if you had a dual fan aio that's cooling your cpu i'd absolutely put it at the top there uh, because then you almost want This cold air escaping much quicker through the radiator of the aio So it's cooling the the coolant liquid inside the aio with an air cool system That's not what you want. But with an aio cold system, that is absolutely what you want for me Actually a great case for both air cooling and it'd probably be very good for aio as well If you put the aio at the top So yeah, I really rate that case

 Yeah, you can see straight away. Look at that

 Okay, so case testing episode 3 today. We have the car fair

 4000 X I did say in the last episodes. I did say it was gonna be the 4000 D

 I did think it was the 4000 D. It's not it's the X the D has got a mesh front the X has got a glass front

 But out of the box it comes with these three beautiful RGB Corsair fans at the front

 Anyway, just the three fans at the front. That's gonna be interesting

 So what we're gonna do today is we're gonna test it out the box with the three fans at the front

 Then what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna stick an exhaust on there

 See how that changes things then what I'm gonna do is put two more exhausts on the top

 And see again how that changes things. We're gonna be stress testing the CPU the GPU to 100%

 We're gonna be taking temperatures at the front and the back of the case to see how the different fan

 Configurations affect the air temperature inside the case and then we're gonna blow some fog through the case

 Fog machines not on doesn't matter and then we're gonna blow some fog through the case

 So we can actually see what's going on with the airflow and see kind of what direction it's going in

 And make sure that the airflow is nice inside the case

 We've done the NZXT H510 that was episode 1 and we've also done the Lian Li O11 dynamic

 Check out the cards. They will be on there go look at those episodes really really interesting

 But today it is the Corsair 4000X. Let's get started

 So as always we're gonna start running the Furmark GPU stress test and CPU burner stress test

 We just need that to become like a little bit of a steady line. Then we know that the temperatures are steady

 And that gives us the best opportunity to start testing the air movement inside the case

 So we're just gonna test it out the box to begin with with the three fans at the front

 This is a positive air pressure configuration

 Meaning that the more air is being pulled in than is being sucked out

 So it's just relying on air pressure inside the case from the intake to push air outwards

 So we've gotten to some pretty steady temperatures there. The CPU is 82 degrees

 And the GPU is 89 degrees. This is in Celsius

 Because we're in the UK. We're recording Celsius. So we are using the Ryzen 5 1600 and the RX 570 GPU

 So they do tend to get a bit hotter than like, you know

 Maybe what you'd like, but we are stress testing. It's at 100% so we can expect some higher temperatures. So

 Let's see what the temperature is like inside the case

 32.8 we'll call it at the front and then back of the case pop that in there

 I want to try and get it just kind of in front of the CPU just above the GPU

 So this is the problem of not having an exhaust is

 You know, you're relying on just the movement of the positive air pressure to push that heat out and really you need the exhaust to be

 41.5. I'll call it at that 41.5. That is fairly warm to be fair

 That it will benefit from having an exhaust at the back

 So it's time for the fun part, which is the fog test

 So as you can see the the fans are pulling air in it's kind of vortex in here, which is quite cool

 I guess what as the cooler air is hitting the colder air

 It's starting to get a lot of turbulence there. You can see that the bottom fans are feeding the GPU

 But also you can see the GPU fans are pulling air in from the back as well

 What is quite interesting because there's no exhaust you can see that the CPU fan
