But, at this price point, I feel there could be some improved design features. For example, pit-zips, better fitting adjustable cuffs, and a drawstring to cinch the waist for a more flattering fit (I'm more of a function over fashion as far as gear, but it would be nice:)

I also think the uppers on the newer ones are more susceptible to stitching tears. I like them because they fit me well, and seem to have a nice balance between rugged-ness and lightness. Another reason is that I am a bit clumsy and they protect my feet when I slam into a stone or root. However, I do seem to be between a narrow and a mid, which causes problems for my baby toes on a long tramp; I may just switch to a mid for pair #3 and see how that goes

My most recent purchases of 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts was not a happy event for me. The three shirts were returned due to the size being not true. They were too big. I re-ordered two of them in a size small which fit better

Very much true to size - great for high-volume feet. I have wide (EE) feet and the 9.5W is a perfect fit. Also fits well over the arch which is one place I often find shoes to fit too tight on me

I walk a lot, and the weather is changing from warm to cool rapidly, but right now its at an awkward stage where the weather is unpredictable. I'm a 4'10 woman, and it fits a little big on purpose but its super confortable and warm! It comes down to my knees so it keeps them warm too, especially in the rain, with the nice hood and neck coverage. I also love the elasticized cuffs because I have small hands and wrists and they don't get swallowed up, nor does cold air flow up into my sleeves. 10/10 light but warm jacket for all weather!

Sole is not as stiff as my last pair of hiking boots so i do feel some of the rougher rock edges when i skip from rock to rock up a trail. Not a real problem though. When i know i am doing elevation and heading down hill i can definitely adjust the boots and tighten the bottom 4 eyelets to ensure my foot doesnt move at all and hit the toe box. Otherwise i keep it a little looser for comfort
