Columbia Whirlibird IV Interchange vs Helly Hansen Alpha 3.0

I bought this jacket a few months ago and was able to take and wear it skiing a few times before the weather warmed up. The jacket not only kept me toasty, but it had all the features I needed to keep me on the slopes all day! The under arm air vents were a huge help to keep me from overheating. It was roomy enough to not pull in certain places and feel too snug when I fell on my face. I would recommend this jacket to anybody that needs a convertible jacket for the slopes or elsewhere

And it's got the life pocket I noticed which is one of my favourite features of a Helly Hansen product. It just really good. It keeps your phone warm ...

Finally, if aesthetics are important to you and you want to look good outdoors, you need to think about the style of the jacket too. Just because you want a jacket to look nice doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to sacrifice any performance.

I love this jacket! It fits great and is comfortable. I really like the inside synthetic jacket as well! Great ski jacket option and converts if it's warmer outside. I recommend it!

I returned the XL I ordered because it didn't fit and bought the XXL. This jacket fit, but the sleeves were too long for me. I was willing to have it altered, but the color wasn't the red shown on the website, rather it was closer to orange. Really disappointed

Jacket seems to be very well built but not for me. Im 5ft 11in and 205. My Burton jacket is medium, fits well but this was too small and tight at the hips with just a t-shirt. I was also drowning in the large so I switched to the omni infinity ascent jacket in large, and that fit like a glove

Needs improvements. Cell phone pocket is way too small. I have the iPhone 13 max. If they are going to create a phone pocket shouldn’t it be able to hold such a popular phone? The protective padding moves around
