Columbia Bora Bora II Booney vs Pendleton Plaid Lodge Shirt

I returned this item because I needed a wide brim hat that would cover the back of my neck on sunny days. The 3" brim on this hat did not appear to be sufficient. I found another hat with a 4" brim on Amazon. It was actually a better deal, costing me $9 versus the $22 for this Columbia hat

I ordered this at the same time as a Pendleton Outdoor Shirt, and the fits are night and day. The XL-T Outdoor Shirt, made in China and wearing a humble tan and green label fits like a champ. This XL-Long, assembled closer to home in Mexico, and proudly wearing the classic blue and gold label is both tight and short. - The sleeves are roughly an inch and a half shorter than the XLT Outdoor Shirt, leaving my wrists exposed and the cuffs riding up my arms

Shirt is a really tapered fit that would probably fit a person with a more athletic build. If it shrinks at all, I won't be able to wear it. Is sized about like most XL Long and is not as large as most XXL

Love this hat for comfort and versatility. I initially bought it for hiking, which I do use it for, but love working in my yard and having this to shade my neck and face. The chin slide is sufficient. The head has an adjust slide on the back which is useful

After trying it on, I washed it (cold water) and let it hang-dry as per the instructions: it dried quickly, was pretty much wrinkle-free (did not need ironing) and wasn't scratchy at all afterwards. Frankly, I prefer a bulkier shirt, and this is more of a dress-shirt weight, so it's not one you'll want if you're looking for warmth alone. As a dress shirt, it is great: it drapes well and the collar and cuffs stay stiff. Don't put it in the dryer, tough, or it will be sure to shrink

Lightweight and comfortable. Only four stars due to price, even though it is one of the least costly in this category.

I got this different cut to try. It's still the same fabric, but now put together in Mexico. Not in Oregon. It's all about the money

This fabric is perfect. My head is small, so I used the size adjusting strap that's behind the hat, and now its a perfect fit and looks very nice. I don't mind wearing this all the time now in this heat. I will order the blue and green one too

Nice fabric, colors, general workmanship. But disappointed in one aspect: at Pendleton prices, I would certainly expect the stripes to be matched at the size seams, front to back. They were not. In fact, the stripe pattern on the main back piece was not only jogged, but upside down relative to the front pieces
