Coleman Classic Propane Stove vs Kovea Spider Stove

Above all other features having the ability to invert the canister when fuel vapor is to low to cook with (temp. and or fuel level) allows me to use it in colder conditions then normal and get maximum use from my can. The only caveat is that you should allow a few minutes of urn to heat the metal fuel feed before inverting to prevent / minimize flare-ups. But once you adjust flow it works perfect

This is a great stove for the money. I bought it because I had read that Kovea was the manufacturer for some famous brand stoves so you could get the same high quality at a lower price by buying direct.

Fix is below: "Initially, the hose did not let gas from my 20 lb propane tank reach the burners on my Coleman NXT 200 grill; while a 1 lb disposable canister worked fine. It was puzzling why the canister fit fine but the hose and big tank did not. However, after digging around for answers on the web, it turned out the remedy actually was to modify the grill fitting to better fit the hose, i.e

It was no problem at all. Both pots fit easily, and we fed 8 people off of this one little stove without having to juggle anything! The finish is very nice on this, better than the competitors, and the embossed Coleman Name in the lid is a nice touch. It's an old school enameled green paint, that is very durable, and honestly, quite attractive at least to my eye.

Much sturdier. The Vega is gorgeous, low and stable, superior in every way and worth the extra money, even if you're willing to play quality control roulette with Kovea.

While this propane stove does burn very cleanly, it still puts out carbon monoxide, and it still consumes oxygen. This is why I recommend that you run this outside, or inside your garage. The area needs to be well ventilated. If you are out camping, of course, please do not run this inside your tent or RV

I love this stove, try it with the Back Packer Oven or just a stand alone stove. Close to the ground more stability then a stove perched atop a canister.
