They stay sharp for days or potentially weeks longer with daily use. Then again the premium price could also be related to being a "lightweight" addition. I've kept this knife at 5 stars because I don't just "like it", I "love it" despite the mentioned caveats.

Congratulations! Out of the many Spydercos I ve got the Manix 2 remains one of my favorites due to the great ergos and awesome blade. Its just melts in hand and is my go to knife for breaking down cardboard.

Sure, I could reset the angle and make it all even myself, but why should I have to? Not when I am paying $130 for a frickin knife. I returned it for a replacement and we will see what I get. I also sent Cold Steel a message asking them what the grind angles are supposed to be on the AD10. I will update my review with what the replacement knife is like as well as any response I get from Cold Steel

The locking mechanism is solid, the handles are comfortable, the blade is utilitarian for just about anything you need a pocket knife for, and it’s a US made Spyderco for $105. Forgot to mention that I love Spyderco’s wire clips because they’re quite inconspicuous and don’t cause a hot spot for me when using the knife.

Don’t buy this knife because looks good, but it does. Don’t buy it because it works great, but it cuts really easy. Buy it because it’s a solid knife with a great steel that does what it says it does. Looks good and works great

Very tough material but no heavy steel liners! -you can slice super-tough material very easily (Garden Hose, Cardboard, Tarp, leather, etc) - will easily stab & puncture moderate & soft substances easily... ***Do not fear the unique lock!! Your wrist will fold before the blade crushes the steel ball-bearing

The weight is no problem at all. I can even carry it in sweatpants. I forget it's there in work pants. Tighter jeans, you will feel it when you sit down, but most of the time forget it's there

I swapped ti scales and cage and it weighs a ton but its like a freaking tank, love it. Definitely check out the ti or aluminum cage, makes a big difference.
