 I glanced inadvertently, glanced at some of the Fragrantica comments, and I laughed. Someone said it smelled like warm cucumbers, and I've never heard a more accurate description for this. I would say just cucumber, it has a very cucumber-y smell. I guess the warm for them came from the patchouli

 The Solar Bloom one had charcoal notes, and those charcoal notes are really summery to me because of cookouts. However, this is spring through and through. And I went to Fragrantica to look at the notes. I'm gonna also go to the Clean website and see if I can get a better list of notes for it

 It's really, really simple sounding, but it comes across quite different from what you expect. So it absolutely does have a very aquatic smell. It smells like water, which is funny because those notes on their own are not particularly watery, bergamot, white flowers. That was the thing too

 Any white flowers is what this smells like. And then the base of patchouli. Do you smell all of that? Yes, you do. It is a floral first and foremost, but it's a floral that smells watery, which is unique

 Clean is my favorite perfume line, hands down.

 However, no one's perfect, including Clean.

 And as you all know, this Rain Reserve came in a gift set

 with, I believe, Solar Bloom was the one.

 and the only reason why I say I believe it was the name of it

 was because I did not commit the name to memory

 so yeah, it had to have been Solar Bloom.

 And I said, that's just a perfect spring combination,

 Yes and no, because even though it's very floral,

 I obviously go to one that had everybody

 If CK1 was your jam and you like a scent

 that a man or a woman could wear with ease

 that isn't overly feminine or overly masculine,

 this is good, but it does lean toward masculine,

 so that you're not just picking up on purely flowers.

I just recently tested Clean Reserve Galbanum & Rain and ugh there it was. They're also less common in men's niche fragrances than men's designer.

This is going to sound bad, and is not meant to offend anyone. I just really want to know if anyone has any idea what it is I might actually like smelling on a man. 

Okay so I'm straight (23F). And I don't think I've ever really smelled a perfume for men and thought mmm that smells good. They a have this sort of typical "man" scent to them that I just don't enjoy!! What is that note? What makes it smell like that? Just sharp. And by man scent I don't mean the natural smell of a man, I just mean the typical kind of scent perfumes for you guys usually have.

I was at a friend's house for a party, and I went into the bathroom right after him. He had just applied perfume in there. My first thought was wow I don't like that. And then I saw it on a shelf, and it was one of the popular ones I've heard about!! Why don't I like anything! I don't get it, I love most perfumes for women.

What do you guys think? Am I just crazy and don't like the typical manly scents, or is it an application problem? As in do your perfumes smell sharp and uninviting at first? Then settle down and smell lovely? I'm just so confused, I thought manly perfumes were supposed to be loved by women.

Do I just not like fragrances for men?? What's wrong with me!!

I have the CLEAN cotton Parfum spray which I am constantly getting compliments on and I was hoping this scent was similar to the cotton scent, but to no avail it was not.

.I think that the flowery smell was just a little too strong for my liking. It definitely overpowered the clean,powdery,linen smell I was looking for.

Just a little hint, before you buy a certain perfume, it does help to try it out in a store first, so you do not spend money on something that ends up being overpowering. Everyone smells different with the skin oils and what smells nice on 1 person may not smell the same on you.
