Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser vs La Roche Posay Hydrating Cleanser

I bought mine on Shoppi so this cost 387 pesos, 487 ml and plus shipping pass. So I think I paid around 440 pesos for this product. I would say nahind...

I can't handle fragrance (which means no popular Neutrogena Ultra sheer, no Aveeno and no Hawaiian tropic), I can't handle denatured alcohol (no hydroboost and a few others I can't remember at the moment) and I can't handle essential oils (there goes Australian gold and a lot of "natural" sunscreens like Alba Botanica and such). Mineral sunscreens are often too drying on my already dry skin and they cause eczema flares for me (bye bye Coppertone pure & simple, Bare Republic, Cerave hydrating and Neutrogena Sheer Zinc). I have had allergic reactions to Cerave AM, SunBum face 50 and Neutrogena Clear Face

It’s meh, I typically do not break out on my face but this stuff caused me some problems - unfortunately! My skin is slightly dry and this product made my face even more dry and left me with some minor pimples on my chin. This wasn’t a problem for me before. I stopped using and replaced it with something else, and my problems went away! I wish I liked this because I know so many people and professionals love it, but it didn’t quite work for me.

I wouldn’t say I have the most sensitive skin, but I always select products suitable for sensitive skin. This one made my face sting and was not effective in removing makeup (even after removing most of it with micellar water makeup remover). I love La Roche’s micellar water that I’ve used in the past, so I figured I would try their cleanser based on numerous positive reviews and dermatologist recommendation. Not satisfied and will be sticking with my previous cleanser

Soon will be adding Neutrogena Age Shield Face Oil-Free Sunscreen w/ Broad Spectrum SPF 110 to my Am routine. I JUST got this and have not yet added it to my routine as I was waiting to see how the other new products work out while I'm still being a hermit lol.

3. Youth to the people dream mask: OMG very few skin products are so effective in such a short period of time. It does exactly what it says it does which is hydrate hydrate hydrate! It has a beautifully mild smell and is quite light for an overnight mask. It leaves my skin looking smooth, supple and soft

I’m dealing with it (those products to come) but ready for that glow up and not looking like a teenager again. WRP

Definitely see a dermatologist. But also if you use any hair products it might help to cut down on ones that contain a lot of comedogenic ingredients. I got the worst breakout of my life after having fairly decent skin because i was using a particular hair product. Once i stopped using it my breakouts became less severe

If your skin is dry, peeling, and painful, adding La Roche Posay CicaBaume at night is great.

I notice it's slightly calming, and ever so slightly viscous, but it isn't that moisturizing. It has an herbal smell that I enjoy, but it doesn't do so much that I'm dying to get a full size. MRP.
