  Folks, this is a $42 wrist watch. And I think it is an incredible value for $42. So here are some thoughts and comments:  First, the nylon band is quite comfortable, much more comfortable than the resin bands found on most of the Casio G-Shock watches. The band seems stiff at first, but in short order it will soften up and contour to your wrist

  On the down side: The the leather ends that attach the band to the watch are pretty much completely worn out, but the fabric looks essentially new. I don't think it is ready to fall off my wrist, but the band is starting to look a bit shabby.  After 4 years of hard use and abuse it is time to replace the strap and possibly the battery. As I mentioned in my initial review, the cost of a replacement cloth/leather band and a new battery come quite close to the current price of a totally new watch (about $38 today)

 The timer, barometer/altimeter, alarms and displays are all still working as they should. The alarm is still loud enough to wake me up when needed. None of the functions have failed. The watch is still waterproof (I have not replaced the main seal/gasket)

Good, rugged and comfortable watch

 It's not a good choice if the main thing you want to be able to do is glance at it very quickly and see instantly what time it is. That said, the buttons work well and it looks like it can take some abuse. I've had lousy luck getting Timex watches to last, so if this proves to be durable, it's probably worth it even though I paid extra for features I'll never use.

the thermometer is useless because you're supposed to have the watch off of ...

 So, I tend to not wear it when I am warmer that comfort allows. The back-light lasts only for what seems to be 1.5 or 1.0 seconds, I find myself pushing it more than once to see the items I am wishing to see

Exactly what I needed/wanted in a digital watch

This watch is smaller than the 50 mm I expected but the quality look and feel makes up for it. I presume they measured side to side including the sensor on the left side of the crown. Numbers are smaller than expected in the face of the timepiece but clean and clear. Strap is 100% great

 I replaced the battery and it worked for about 12 hours, then died. I replaced the battery again, same results.  Since it is past the 1-year point I'm not even going to bother contacting Casio. From what everyone else says it would be a wasted effort

 The other thing is a small thing, but it stands out to me as being this is a quality product. It's a crown or rather the stem on the crown. As you pull the stem out, as you pull the crown out and the stem engages with the movement, there's a real like click. A definite solid click there

 One final grip: the bracelet is 22 millimeters wide. That makes it annoying when you're trying to buy straps over at Barkingjack.shop We sell watch straps. We don't have all that many in 22 millimeters, but we do have 22 millimeters, but the majority of them are in 20 millimeters and that seems to be the case for most strap places, so that's a bit annoying

Hands-On: Tudor Pelagos - The Best Dive Watch!

 Figured I needed a nice cheaper watch that I could beat up for outside and summer use without feeling too bad about it lol. Rolex OP 36 and Tudor Pelagos are my other pieces.

The statement is one of understatement, which draws more interest amongst the true timepiece aficionados.  I cannot overstate my fondness for this watch and I look forward to many years of enjoyment and compliments. If you have had the good sense to finish this whole review, you've come to understand there's no reason you shouldn't own one too

This New Tudor Outshines Old Hat Submariner

I find it a little too big but I love the GMT complication and the date, altho the date is a little too small. Tudor Pelagos:. Haven't tried it on in about 2 years, however I like it, I like the ceramic bezel, flat sapphire crystal I just feel the diameter is too large but appreciate the titanium.

 Anywho, still awesome. Its proprietary clasp design is the new standard in my collection for comfort and ease of adjustability for the wearer. I've seen reviews on other sites that say the adjustable clasp is "gimmicky" and that you will size your watch and never use it. I live in a humid climate and have a lifestyle that takes me back and forth from AC'd comfort to oppressive sticky heat several times a day, and similarly reversed in the winter, and it's nice to always have the watch's fit suit my tasks, attire, etc

 Its flat sapphire crystal is perfectly beveled at the edges and should be just as tough as the bezel. The dial and hands are points of contention for some. Some say the dial is cluttered with too much text; I like it. Gives a nod to its Rolex diver brothers but is still uniquely Tudor

The new in house movement developed by Rolex/Tudor for this watch is a COSC certified chronometer, which means that the movement in your watch will have been verified through an independent observer to be within the strictest of specifications of function. Mine loses approximately
