  Folks, this is a $42 wrist watch. And I think it is an incredible value for $42. So here are some thoughts and comments:  First, the nylon band is quite comfortable, much more comfortable than the resin bands found on most of the Casio G-Shock watches. The band seems stiff at first, but in short order it will soften up and contour to your wrist

  On the down side: The the leather ends that attach the band to the watch are pretty much completely worn out, but the fabric looks essentially new. I don't think it is ready to fall off my wrist, but the band is starting to look a bit shabby.  After 4 years of hard use and abuse it is time to replace the strap and possibly the battery. As I mentioned in my initial review, the cost of a replacement cloth/leather band and a new battery come quite close to the current price of a totally new watch (about $38 today)

 The timer, barometer/altimeter, alarms and displays are all still working as they should. The alarm is still loud enough to wake me up when needed. None of the functions have failed. The watch is still waterproof (I have not replaced the main seal/gasket)

Good, rugged and comfortable watch

 It's not a good choice if the main thing you want to be able to do is glance at it very quickly and see instantly what time it is. That said, the buttons work well and it looks like it can take some abuse. I've had lousy luck getting Timex watches to last, so if this proves to be durable, it's probably worth it even though I paid extra for features I'll never use.

the thermometer is useless because you're supposed to have the watch off of ...

 So, I tend to not wear it when I am warmer that comfort allows. The back-light lasts only for what seems to be 1.5 or 1.0 seconds, I find myself pushing it more than once to see the items I am wishing to see

Exactly what I needed/wanted in a digital watch

This watch is smaller than the 50 mm I expected but the quality look and feel makes up for it. I presume they measured side to side including the sensor on the left side of the crown. Numbers are smaller than expected in the face of the timepiece but clean and clear. Strap is 100% great

 I replaced the battery and it worked for about 12 hours, then died. I replaced the battery again, same results.  Since it is past the 1-year point I'm not even going to bother contacting Casio. From what everyone else says it would be a wasted effort

 Don't buy this watch or any other wash available. [Music] So to start us out here with this watch, let's discuss the unique aspects when compared to other black Fade 36 And then really, the main thing here is the dial. Of course, as an owner of a Tudor Submariner blue dial, I have always been a fan of the way Tudor executes its food aisles in general. This one of course is very different than my 90s Tudor sub coming with a slight sunburst effect with the style

 However, this is yet to occupy these mid sized black bays 36 is here. The movement features a 38-hour power reserve, operates at 20,000 800 vibrations per hour or 4 Hertz and just simply as a reliable movement that can when regulated, achieve very solid accuracy. And of course there's a little bit of a desire to want to have it in how smooth in these watches. but I think for where these watches fall and also just the ease of being able to service et based movements and after owning, you know some more complicated movements as well as some vintage movements as well and it just pieces

 so let's jump in to the review. So the Tutor Black Bait 36 was first introduced at Baza World 2016 add a black dial variant and then two years later we saw the blue dial variant be introduced as well that model specifically what I have here today and although these watches have eventually just hit the market bet I think they were created for and there's been enough reception where I'd say that these watches have been a success I Think the watches themselves were of course overshadowed not just by Tudor alone and other watches, but just the black bag collection as well at those specific massive worlds in which these watches were released. But now as these watches have had time in the market I Think people are starting to appreciate what a great everyday watch option these watches are and being unapologetically Tudor with his design, this particular model coming with a blue dial is my personal preference for what I would go for. I'll mention points later Wide think that's the case

When i first got it i even had to order an extra link for the bracelet from Tudor as it was too small. Having had it for a few months i can honestly say it’s my favourite watch; even on my 7 1/2 inch wrist it just seems to work. The watch feels like my favourite of jeans, comfy, easy and perfect for every situation.

For the money, I'd suggest either a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80, anything by Lorier, Seiko Presage (though they're harder to dress down), Rolex Oysterquartz (relatively cheap to buy and maintain), Tudor Black Bay 36, or Tudor Date-Day. A lot of these aren't dive watches, but they're great options.

I just joined this subreddit but I've looked on here for a while, checked out the buying guides and all of that and figured the best way to decide is by asking all of you! Here are some things I've already decided on when it comes to buying a watch:

\-My budget is anywhere from $300-$1800. I feel like this is a good price range to search in, not too high a cost, but still enough to buy from some mid to high end brands, whether that be brand new or pre-owned.

\-The watch brands that have caught my eye so far are Seiko, Omega, Citizen, Longines, Hamilton, TAG Heuer, and Rolex. Disclaimer: I am open to any brand, these are just the ones that have piqued my interest! 

\-Out of all the watch types I've seen, I have a love for dive watches the most! Dress watches and Chronograph watches are lovely as well but dive watches have to be my favorite. I'm open to any watch type however!

\-What am I looking for in a watch? After a lot of thinking, I've decided that the perfect watch would be one that's not too bulky, one I could wear in any attire that still looks good without an overwhelming number of complications. The last thing isn't a requirement but I'd also like to have a watch that leaves a good impression on people, whether it be watch enthusiasts, close friends and acquaintances, or just a random passerby.
