  Folks, this is a $42 wrist watch. And I think it is an incredible value for $42. So here are some thoughts and comments:  First, the nylon band is quite comfortable, much more comfortable than the resin bands found on most of the Casio G-Shock watches. The band seems stiff at first, but in short order it will soften up and contour to your wrist

  On the down side: The the leather ends that attach the band to the watch are pretty much completely worn out, but the fabric looks essentially new. I don't think it is ready to fall off my wrist, but the band is starting to look a bit shabby.  After 4 years of hard use and abuse it is time to replace the strap and possibly the battery. As I mentioned in my initial review, the cost of a replacement cloth/leather band and a new battery come quite close to the current price of a totally new watch (about $38 today)

 The timer, barometer/altimeter, alarms and displays are all still working as they should. The alarm is still loud enough to wake me up when needed. None of the functions have failed. The watch is still waterproof (I have not replaced the main seal/gasket)

Good, rugged and comfortable watch

 It's not a good choice if the main thing you want to be able to do is glance at it very quickly and see instantly what time it is. That said, the buttons work well and it looks like it can take some abuse. I've had lousy luck getting Timex watches to last, so if this proves to be durable, it's probably worth it even though I paid extra for features I'll never use.

the thermometer is useless because you're supposed to have the watch off of ...

 So, I tend to not wear it when I am warmer that comfort allows. The back-light lasts only for what seems to be 1.5 or 1.0 seconds, I find myself pushing it more than once to see the items I am wishing to see

Exactly what I needed/wanted in a digital watch

This watch is smaller than the 50 mm I expected but the quality look and feel makes up for it. I presume they measured side to side including the sensor on the left side of the crown. Numbers are smaller than expected in the face of the timepiece but clean and clear. Strap is 100% great

 I replaced the battery and it worked for about 12 hours, then died. I replaced the battery again, same results.  Since it is past the 1-year point I'm not even going to bother contacting Casio. From what everyone else says it would be a wasted effort

 Also 36 or 39mm Explorer I, Explorer II 16570 or a No Date Submariner 14060. These are the best values for the money and will always keep going up in price so you wouldn’t lose a penny.

I'm looking for a nice stainless timepiece but  nothing these days seems to actually keep time.  Even a $2700 Tag that I looked at only keeps time for 48hrs unless you purchase a $200 machine with it.  Any suggestions?  Is Timex the only thing that takes a licking and keeps on ticking....

 My first impressions are really, it's got great proportions, it just looks fantastic all the way around. and I think with its size of 40 millimeters, it's not too small for a wrist like mine which is pretty big, but it's not also going to be too big for a if they'll long with a smaller wrist which is very nice. I Do like that it's a light watch which makes it very comfortable on the wrist. I think that's thanks to the bracelet

 So so as you can see here on the loom Pip at 12 o'clock right here that loom pip has gotten a little bit creamy in its color which I really like. Alright so I've turned the watch around to its back here to show you the bracelet and really it is. It is one great bracelet. Of course this being a 90s Rolex it isn't the most solid feeling bracelet in the world, but I Gotta say it's definitely one of the most comfortable watches that I've ever had on my wrist

 It's of course an automatic movement and the automatic rotor inside of there features a bi-directional winding which is a nice feature. And of course also the second hand does stop when you pull out the crown which is called hacking seconds. Rolex Submariner "No date" 14060 Unboxing & First Impressions

 It's completely unsaturated, almost of the point. I Wouldn't go so far as to say it is, but it could potentially compared to the Tudor be seen as a bit sterile. However, its size, weight, build, and combination of years of perfecting this design come together brilliantly. The 1406 0 is not quite the attention seeker that many modern submariners are

 It preceded the famous 55 13 model and is arguably a perfect balance between the best of vintage and the best of modern Submariner. Taking design cues from the more vintage Submariner dials, it has no date function and therefore no Cyclops which a lot of people like for its purity. It features a unidirectional aluminum bezel which will take a beating while displaying eventual signs of age and wear when exposed to the elements. This can be a positive or a negative, depending on your preference for patina

 It's one of the most versatile and universally loved watches, and when you wear it on your wrist, it's easy to see why. The black buy 58 is in its own way: bolder in where and in personality I Think it speaks to a more specific or more tailored audience. The black by 58 is a cherry picking of some of the best qualities from vintage models and delivers them in a loose, less rigid format. For some people, this could be sort of screaming vintage inspired in-your-face which might come off a bit too strong, but the design is still definitely staying within the Black Bay line half the price of the Rolex This is a fantastic option for people looking for a dive watch with brand heritage and great design

 This watch is water resistant up to 200 metres. It features and aluminum bezel insert its cases. Crown Guard Less doesn't have crown guards and it features thick bevels on the lugs. It also has a fan favorite Vintage Touch which is it's rivet bracelet which is executed very nicely
