  Folks, this is a $42 wrist watch. And I think it is an incredible value for $42. So here are some thoughts and comments:  First, the nylon band is quite comfortable, much more comfortable than the resin bands found on most of the Casio G-Shock watches. The band seems stiff at first, but in short order it will soften up and contour to your wrist

  On the down side: The the leather ends that attach the band to the watch are pretty much completely worn out, but the fabric looks essentially new. I don't think it is ready to fall off my wrist, but the band is starting to look a bit shabby.  After 4 years of hard use and abuse it is time to replace the strap and possibly the battery. As I mentioned in my initial review, the cost of a replacement cloth/leather band and a new battery come quite close to the current price of a totally new watch (about $38 today)

 The timer, barometer/altimeter, alarms and displays are all still working as they should. The alarm is still loud enough to wake me up when needed. None of the functions have failed. The watch is still waterproof (I have not replaced the main seal/gasket)

Good, rugged and comfortable watch

 It's not a good choice if the main thing you want to be able to do is glance at it very quickly and see instantly what time it is. That said, the buttons work well and it looks like it can take some abuse. I've had lousy luck getting Timex watches to last, so if this proves to be durable, it's probably worth it even though I paid extra for features I'll never use.

the thermometer is useless because you're supposed to have the watch off of ...

 So, I tend to not wear it when I am warmer that comfort allows. The back-light lasts only for what seems to be 1.5 or 1.0 seconds, I find myself pushing it more than once to see the items I am wishing to see

Exactly what I needed/wanted in a digital watch

This watch is smaller than the 50 mm I expected but the quality look and feel makes up for it. I presume they measured side to side including the sensor on the left side of the crown. Numbers are smaller than expected in the face of the timepiece but clean and clear. Strap is 100% great

 I replaced the battery and it worked for about 12 hours, then died. I replaced the battery again, same results.  Since it is past the 1-year point I'm not even going to bother contacting Casio. From what everyone else says it would be a wasted effort

3 very nice undressy on log width I got a 20. Some will say. Finally, as you can see, the watch wears beautifully on my 17 centimeter 7 inch circumference wrist. [Music] [Music] Let's talk about the dial of this watch and as I told you, I went for the cream version dial because I just thought it was just beautiful with that contrasting blue hands

 We only have mineral crystal here front and back, but that's what was announced. Let's talk about the case. The case is pretty simple, not as simple as in other Bambino models as you can see. the bezel is polished as are the top of the logs

 But there's a flip side to that. First of all will be the price. What made the predecessor of this one so special was very very low pricing. You could get the Bambino for even around a hundred dollars, sometimes 110 euros, something like that

 Finally, as you can see, the watch wears beautifully on my 17 centimeter 7 inch circumference wrist.  However this is more noticeable. It's not that bad, but I was almost worried there was something wrong at first.  Also, not a con, but the strap isn't all that great. If you like crop leather it isn't so bad, but I replaced it

 The crystal is TALL, with it arching up over the dial a very noticeable amount, but it does not look overly tacky or cheap. It is mineral, so care will need to be taken not to scratch it, but it is clear and secured nicely.  Mechanically this watch is sound. The crown functions solidly as advertised with a very satisfying and easy to use winding feature

 i wear it almost every day, and it's held up well. so far no scratches, even after a few bumps that definitely would have scratched my cheapo watches. but thing thing take a licking and keeps on ticking! oh no, trademark infringement! sue me! seriously though, it's a tough watch so far. the band looks new other than having more of a curve to it from being worn

This is my first nice watch. I've had fake nice watches in the past, but all quartz stuff that didnt hold up well. First things first, it tells time!
