  Folks, this is a $42 wrist watch. And I think it is an incredible value for $42. So here are some thoughts and comments:  First, the nylon band is quite comfortable, much more comfortable than the resin bands found on most of the Casio G-Shock watches. The band seems stiff at first, but in short order it will soften up and contour to your wrist

  On the down side: The the leather ends that attach the band to the watch are pretty much completely worn out, but the fabric looks essentially new. I don't think it is ready to fall off my wrist, but the band is starting to look a bit shabby.  After 4 years of hard use and abuse it is time to replace the strap and possibly the battery. As I mentioned in my initial review, the cost of a replacement cloth/leather band and a new battery come quite close to the current price of a totally new watch (about $38 today)

 The timer, barometer/altimeter, alarms and displays are all still working as they should. The alarm is still loud enough to wake me up when needed. None of the functions have failed. The watch is still waterproof (I have not replaced the main seal/gasket)

Good, rugged and comfortable watch

 It's not a good choice if the main thing you want to be able to do is glance at it very quickly and see instantly what time it is. That said, the buttons work well and it looks like it can take some abuse. I've had lousy luck getting Timex watches to last, so if this proves to be durable, it's probably worth it even though I paid extra for features I'll never use.

the thermometer is useless because you're supposed to have the watch off of ...

 So, I tend to not wear it when I am warmer that comfort allows. The back-light lasts only for what seems to be 1.5 or 1.0 seconds, I find myself pushing it more than once to see the items I am wishing to see

Exactly what I needed/wanted in a digital watch

This watch is smaller than the 50 mm I expected but the quality look and feel makes up for it. I presume they measured side to side including the sensor on the left side of the crown. Numbers are smaller than expected in the face of the timepiece but clean and clear. Strap is 100% great

Hot take I think Invicta Pro Diver is a good value at their market price. They are sub $100 auto with a good movement and pretty good fit and finish.

 These bracelets are almost identical, except the clasp, I never had an issue with my 9937's, and I would not expect an issue with either of these. Both bracelets appear to be finished identically, and they feel exactly the same on the wrist, which is to say quite comfortable and, although the clasps are the same general design (with a security fold over) they are made differently, with the 9937 (top in pic) being the better design. NEITHER watch bracelet has a diver's extension to accommodate a wet suit which surprised me.  The dials may look identical in the picture, but they are not

. wear it a while and decide if the design and function suits you. For less than $80, you cannot go far wrong and, if it turns out that you like the design of a divers sport watch, you can always upgrade to a better watch of similar design later.  I hope this is helpful to someone

 in appearance, but significantly different in cost. In my view, the 9937 is the better watch, worth the difference in cost, but "your mileage may vary." This review is posted under both watches.  There are MANY good reviews of both watches on Amazon, but if you look at the dates, many are old, and address QC issues that have long been resolved

8926 vs the Ubiquitous 9937 ... watch collector and Dive Master

 The watch band has received some negative reviews and I am not sure why. It is a thick, heavy-weight band and is of much higher quality than what was was furnished with any of the other Submariner homage watches that I have owned (by comparison, the one on the Orient was terrible to the point that it had to be replaced). Some don't like the shiny center kinks on the provided band, but I do. It looks good and has been durable so far

 It is a Seiko hacking movement, and it is the most accurate movement of any automatic watch I've ever owned (and I've been wearing automatics since the 1960s). I've been wearing it for a little over a week now, and it has only gained a total of three seconds (not three seconds a day, but three seconds overall). I think that is pretty amazing for a timepiece that only cost $85. The watch is very handsome, and gets a lot of looks and compliments

 I actually like the wing on the short end of the second hand and on the face of the watch. The luminous dot on the second hand is probably 1/8" closer to the end of the hand than the dot on most other homages (and the real thing), but this actually causes it to sweep directly over the luminous hour dots on the face of the watch as it moves, which I think is cool. The watch band has received some negative reviews and I am not sure why.   This black dial/bezel model 8926OB is an attractive watch and is the second most accurate of the five Invicta Pro Diver automatic watches I’ve owned. When stored dial up, it gained time at the rate of a few seconds a day. When worn on the wrist, it usually lost time at a rate of ten seconds or so a day. This is excellent for an inexpensive automatic watch

 You need to examine and test the watch thoroughly within Amazon's 30-day return period.

 When the watch arrives, inspect it closely, especially the bezel and screw-down crown. Besides two loose bezels, one of the Pro Divers I received had a very gritty screw-down crown. Either manually or with an app, carefully check the watch’s accuracy. Be sure and check the watch’s accuracy when worn on your wrist, not just stored

Premium quality automatic at a reasonable price.

 With the screw down crown & the performance of my 8932, I am confident it will be fine in water. I found the pins on the band too difficult to remove to adjust the bracelet. I just took it to my 'watch guy' & had him do it for me. There are adjustment tools you can buy online for about 5 bucks if you want to do it yourself

 The 8926ob is 40mm & coin edged bezel (same specs as the Rolex Submariner). I'll respond to things I've seen on youtube & other places on the web. This isn't my 1st Invicta. I do not own any of the huge, over the top watches collectors seem to hate from Invicta

 I'll change my rating if I ever decide to go deep with the watch depending on whether or not it survives.

 If it isn't worn everyday it has to be shaken up a bit a couple of times per day to keep the self-winding movement going (duh!). I'm not sure exactly how much reserve is in the spring, but estimate around nine to twelve hours. My copy is accurate to about a minute per month if I keep it wound. I give it four stars for water resistance because I do not quite trust it yet to replace my tried and true regular dive watch for scuba diving even though it's rated for over six times the maximum depth I dive, but I have worn it in water for swimming and shallow snorkeling with no problems
