I have not been able to get it to work on my Samsung S7. I called Nikon tech support back in March and was told that support for androids would be better in a future software update. The video toolkit here is pretty basic. The G5 X can record at 4K at 30fps—a firmware update is coming to add 24fps by the end of the year. It also supports 1080p at up to 120fps, so slow-motion playback is an option.
