 Hi, I'm Liam from Harding Bros Golf and in today's video I will be reviewing the Callaway SureOut 2 wedge to see if this wedge can actually improve your chipping. The Callaway SureOut 2 wedge has a wide and high bounce leading edge which is designed to effortlessly slide through the sand and the grass to avoid you from chunking the golf ball. It also has these two tungsten weights to increase the forgiveness and stability of the wedge. Also, it has full face grooves so even when you hit on the toe there are grooves there so you will still get spin even on mishits

 Here are the ball flight and green interactions with these shots. They popped out at a medium height and then trickled out a decent length. They didn't have tons of spin but not bad. Again with these three bunker shots, I have a pretty nice spread around the hole

Callaway Sure Out 2 Wedge Review - YouTube

 Hi, I'm Liam from Harding Bros Golf and in today's video I will be reviewing the Callaway

 SureOut 2 wedge to see if this wedge can actually improve your chipping.

 The Callaway SureOut 2 wedge has a wide and high bounce leading edge which is designed

 Also, I have this in the KBS 90 gram shaft which is quite light for a wedge shaft.

 Here's what they look like behind the ball.

 The wedge to the left is the SureOut 2 and the one on the right is my Callaway Mac Daddy

 As you can see, you can't see the back of the club, the thick sole down by the ball

 which is nice and it has the full groove face which I do like.

 It has the white grooves on the bottom so you can align it and see where the center

 The head size is quite a bit bigger than the Mac Daddy 4 on the right.

 To test this wedge, I will now hit a variety of chips from different lies here at Cannon

 You can see the club slides through the sand without digging very deep on this shot.

 Here are my divots from these bunker shots.

 As you can see, they are very shallow and did not dig very deep.

 Here are the ball flight and green interactions with these shots.

 They popped out at a medium height and then trickled out a decent length.

 They didn't have tons of spin but not bad.

 Again with these three bunker shots, I have a pretty nice spread around the hole.

 All of my putts would be inside of 10 feet.

 On this shot, I tried to open the face more and hit a higher more spinning shot.

 It went out fine but I found it slightly harder to hit these bunker shots with the face wide

 With my normal Mac Daddy wedge, I have the face really wide open and I may have used

 lots of wrists and get under the ball and hit high spinning shots.

 With my dad's shot here, he had a good technique with this throughout wedge which is just a

 half to three quarter swing with the face just slightly open.

 From the rough, the club slid through the grass nice without taking a divot.

 The ball popped up nice and high from the rough but didn't spin much.

 No matter what wedge you have on this lie, you won't get much spin.

 Here I am using my traditional Mac Daddy wedge from this Chewy Kakuya lie.

 With the Chewy Kakuya, it really grabs the club as you can see with this shot.

 I was still able to hit a good shot but it takes lots of practice and precision to be

 This shot was able to slide through the Kakuya grass better.

 The shot was able to slide through this tight lie very well without taking a divot.

 Here is my green interaction from a tight lie.

 I got similar roll out to what I would expect with my Mac Daddy wedge.

 To test the versatility of this wedge, I am trying to hit some flop shots.

 The first flop shot I had the face too open so I wasn't able to get under the ball due

 The next one I had the face just slightly open and was able to get under it with lots

 I found that this wedge does work well with flop shots and does generate lots of spin

 but one thing I had to be aware of is I couldn't open the face too much.

 When I have the face open, it's fine but if you open it too much, the thick sole and leading

 edge lifts up too much so then you will hit more on the middle of the ball and won't be

 If I open up just slightly less like this, then I will be able to get under the ball

 and get lots of spin and have nice flop shots.

 From 70 yards, I took a nice shallow divot and the ball had lots of spin.

 It had one bounce and stop and finished 4 inches in front of the pitch mark.

 After testing these wedges, I have found that they aren't gimmicks.
