The SIG 365XL Full Review: From a "Glock Guy"

 Hey guys, thanks so much for taking your time to tune in here again for another review.

 So today's video is essentially going to be part two of a video that I've done called

 Now this is going to be a new video series featured on my channel where I'm going to

 be taking a look at products, giving you guys my first initial impressions and thoughts.

 Some of those may be firearms, some of those may be holsters or other products and accessories.

 Now some of those products may make it to a full video review here on the channel, some

 So guys, what have I learned over the past several months of carrying the 365 XL, putting

 it through its paces at the range, carrying it up to 18 hours a day and what things that

 I missed during my first initial impressions for you guys.

 Alright guys, so this has been one of those guns that really surprised me from the very

 You know, I've mentioned that before, this was one of those ones that really just, you

 know, it gave me results that I just wasn't anticipating or expecting.

 So what I like to do is just kind of start at the top as I do with some of my other reviews

 and just kind of work my way down regarding the different features of the gun, talk about

 some of the things that I like and some of the things that I don't like after I've had

 So with anything, you know, a set of sights is something that is always going to be, I

 think, something that is commonly overlooked among new gun owners and so I like the fact

 that Sig went with a really nice hi-vis which I believe they call this their x-ray sight.

 Basically gives you a high fluorescent color outline and then obviously a tritium front

 I can tell you running multiple low light classes that tritium really, if you've got

 the right light application, they don't make that big of an impact at night in my opinion.

 If you're not running any kind of light and you're just running on ambient light from

 maybe the moon or something like that or street lights or something, yeah, they definitely

 So next moving on down to the slide of the gun, you can see some nice chamfering here.

 This is what I think is very reminiscent of some other previous models out on the market

 but most noticeably the one that comes to mind first is the CZ P10 Compact.

 They really I think do a really nice job but I do like the chamfering, okay.

 It obviously is going to reduce overall weight and especially if you have small hands, right.

 Now I have large size hands but if you have small hands and you're running an optic such

 as mine and you like to roll that thumb over to do either a press check or you're going

 to charge the gun from the front, clear malfunction, the chamfering just it's almost kind of like

 a two benefit process, one it reduces weight and again aids in rolling that thumb over

 So next I want to talk about these front serrations, not necessarily so much as the back because

 I've rarely ever used those even though that I feel like that they could have been cut

 So let me show you what I'm talking about.

 So if we take a look at these, they're really nothing to write home about, okay.

 They essentially do their job but I believe they could have done their job a little bit

 better by changing the angle of the actual cut.

 So if we take a look at the 360 or the, I'm sorry, the P320 series, right, the X-Carry,

 if we take a look at those serrations and we look at the very bottom of those you can

 actually see more shadowing and they're a little bit deeper at the bottom, okay, and

 just that little bit of a difference just gives more bite to the actual serrations when

 you're using those and that's going to be the same on the rear of the 320 as well.

 So that's just something I think that they could have done just a tad bit different on

 the serrations just to give them a little bit more bite, especially if your hands are

 sweaty or, you know, God forbid they have blood on them, okay.

 Next, the controls, the controls, I don't have anything negative to say.

 I think that they stick out just enough, they provide plenty of room to really hammer down

 on that slide release or slide stop just to allow that slide to go forward, especially

 if you're slamming another magazine into the gun and just get it back up and operational.

 So I really like the way their interpretation of this is and how it's cut, you know, it's

 not sticking out far enough to make any kind of a snag hazard, but it's a really nice shelf

 in order to really drive that slide or drop that lever home and allow that slide to go
