 Im just under 6 feet and weigh about 140 (I’m skinny I know lol). Board feels pretty comfortable but it is noticeably heavier compared to my buddies board (some lib tech 154) and the shorter board did feel a bit better but nothing worth complaining about.

I live in Banff, Canada and am riding some pretty big mountains. I picked up a pretty mint used 2019 Burton Process 157 as well as a new pair of Burton Freestyle Re Flex bindings.  What up guys, SnowGuru Joe here, we're in Australia at the ESS board store, we're here with Mark. Guru, you gotta add guru on my name too, it's a two way street, no I'm just kidding, glad to be here man, thank you. We're here tonight to try and help you guys find the right snowboard for yourself, so we're going to talk to Mark and see what board he rides and why, and hopefully that can help you guys out. So Mark, the guru, yeah the guru, what's your favorite board, self reclaimed, no I'm just kidding, my favorite board is snowboard on, in the Burton line of course, in the Burton line of course, never been on another board dude, so yeah probably the process, it's been through a lot with me, we've changed it a bit over the years due to other people's and riders feedback and just with what I was feeling, and I think it's at a place where I'm super stoked on it, and UC kinda passed the torch on, he rode that at the end of his career, and he's also the homie, one of the first people I ever got to hang around with on the Burton team, and yeah I just like the board, I can take it in the backcountry, I can ride park with it, I can ride pipe with it, you can do anything with it, awesome, so this board sounds like it's perfect for someone who's ripping around the mountain, maybe wants to do a bit of jumps, yeah somebody that's trying to progress their riding and maybe take a bit of a more aggressive approach, but still very playful, for a guy like myself I need to be agile and play on the rails and that definitely helps, and I think it's just like a nice beat in the middle between like a jib board and a custom or something, it's a really good board for a lot of things, totally, so the custom is a bit more aggressive, maybe if someone's riding a bit faster all the time, yeah exactly, just really wanting to carve it up, the custom might be a little bit better, yep, I think that's a really good point, custom is definitely faster, more aggressive, probably a little narrower taper on it too, but we won't get too tight, no, it's perfect, we've got to keep it simple, we've got to help you guys find the right boards, so if you're riding like Mark or you want to be like Mark, obviously the guru, you want to ride the process, so the process we've recapped, a little bit softer and not super stiff, but definitely still grips all over the mountain, you can definitely ride switch on it, hit some jumps, carve around, it's twin, that's right, that was definitely a big thing in my book trying to get it changed and then obviously the blunted tip and tail are awesome and exciting, and we've added like some more stabilizing under the bindings where we were seeing the board break and stuff like that, and I'm just more of like a messenger to the amazing board team at Burton, and they're in Craig's warehouse and factory everyday making the right changes for the ultimate ride, it's so cool, it's cool to be a part of it, it is, it's really cool, it's a very rider driven company and glad that they actually bring our feedback to life and it's quite rewarding when you see it on the shelf

 We have the Flying V version, which I have here today, which simply means that there's a nice dip between your bindings that give you a nice pivot point to help initiate turns with a little bit stiffer of a board. After the dip in between your feet, you have traditional camber sections before it flattens out and goes to your tail, so a good pivot point in the middle while you still remain some grip and pop directly underneath your feet. As far as the shape of the board, it is a twin-shaped board, which means that it's going to ride exactly the same in either direction, whether you're going left foot forward or right foot forward, which is really fun, especially if you like to play around on the mountain and switch stances throughout the day. It is twin flex also, so you're going to get the exact same response out of the tip and tail no matter how much weight you load up on either end

 As far as the shape of the board, it is a twin-shaped board, which means that it's going to ride exactly the same in either direction, whether you're going left foot forward or right foot forward, which is really fun, especially if you like to play around on the mountain and switch stances throughout the day. Burton Process Snowboard (Men's) | W22/23 Product Review

 Hey, this is Josh from Burton Snowboards.

 We're here at Peter Glenn today to talk about the Winter 23 Burton Process Snowboard.

 The Burton Process is our perfect, perfect intermediate snowboard for someone that has

 advanced past a flat camber shape and wants to get into something a little bit more aggressive

 that's still playful and pretty versatile for the whole mountain.

 The process is offered in two different camber bends.

 We have the Flying V version, which I have here today, which simply means that there's

 a nice dip between your bindings that give you a nice pivot point to help initiate turns
