It seems to sharpen up as easily and hold an edge as well as 1095 carbon steel, but has the rust resistance of a stainless. The fit is top notch. There are no gaps between the backspring and liners. There's no blade wobble, and no gaps between the wooden scales and the bolsters

oil helped a little but it just needed some usage before it became easier to actuate. The second reason is when you use the safety to lock it closed it still opens about a forth of an inch from the hilt, enough to expose the point and blade. after six months i have not had any problems with the blade opening on its own however it was a concern when I first received the knife. In conclusion it has great features, high durability and a couple minor drawbacks but over all is a great knife

I like the knife, however fit and finish on the scales could be better. The blade arrived with a burr, almost seems like they didn't finish sharpening it.

I don't know we could potentially hit it for the weight, which is four point, seven ounces, but that's really not bad at all. Considering what you get...
