Nice. I have this cooler in my Ghost, big props to Noctua for bringing it out. Glad to see it is usable in different cases.

Sliding into place

 I think i first ran out straight out of the box. Looking for 10 kind of steady miles running 10 miles in around an hour and some strides and by the end of the run, i could kind of feel that they were a little bit kind of ponderous heavy on the legs and compared to some other options. Um, you know, there's not a huge amount of kind of bounce or rebound here or a very snappy transition. It'S all kind of solid cruisery i'd say it's how i describe it like

 It'S still got that sort of conventional feel. It feels like a very stable, comfortable shoe when you're running around in it um, but then again it doesn't feel like it does anything other than that. I think for me the um, i'm, a big fan of the glittering 19 shoe um and that shoe is a lot, has a bit more softness to it. It feels a little bit more cushioned when you're running it's a lot more for me, a lot more enjoyable to run in it just feels like a really nice easy run, shoe um that you can go a little bit faster in the brooks ghost 14

 Overall, this is a pretty solid shoe uh, it's a nice, robust kind of um, fairly comfortable, not entirely slow shoe that can do you know a decent job of a few different things, but there are certainly better options out there and i'd expect slightly more from the Ghost line in the future, hopefully with that new phone, so my verdict on the ghost 14 is that it's an old classic reliable shoe. I think if you've tried a ghost shoe before you're, not going to be particularly surprised by the shoe you're going to be happy that it's still got the same sort of feel and the same sort of benefits that you're probably used to getting from that shoe, which A reliability and a nice level of upper comfort, um and, to be honest, you won't be disappointed in it, but i think um there's a lot of good shoes out there at the moment. A lot of shoes that have a lot more performance features in them. A lot of sort of technically advanced students when it comes to the midsole foams that you can get, and i just don't think this really competes with those

Brooks Ghost 14 Review | A Conventional Daily Shoe That Sticks To What It Does Best

 More rebound if that's what you might be in the market for. It's a good alternative to reduce some weight as compared to the Nimbus or Cumulus.

Hi, I have been running mostly with ASICS Gel-Cumulus, occasionally in Gel-Nimbus in past years. Very satisfied because of the cushioning, wide front of the shoe, durability, drop, even price. Generally I need cushioning and higher drop due to my Achilles problems and I have wider front part of the foot so need space. Looking for neutral shoes (I have even slight underpronation) and mid-foot striking. I am still pretty much recreational runner with 100-150 km/monthly in 5:45-6:45 min/km pace.

I am thinking what other options I might have:

1) ASICS Novablast - I have no experience with them but they look cool, what is the main difference to Cumulus/Nimbus?

2) New Balance - any interesting alternatives?

3) Brooks Ghost - I have quite good experience with Cascadia for trail running, would Ghost be an interesting alternative to ASICS?

I know that if one is satisfied long-term with a certain brand/type, there is no big reason to change, still, I want to evaluate other shoes as well.

ASICS Gel-Cumulus runner here - alternatives?

 Also is it safe to slowly transition from my Kayano 28s to the Ghost 14 assuming my feet get stronger from running in less stable shoes? I don't want to get shin splits etc. Thank you!

 Ghost 14's do have some stability, but after a quick run in them I do notice some pain in the left side of my right ankle. Would this be because of using a shoe with less stability and my overpronation? I'm worried that if I do a normal run around 4-5km I'll get home really sore. I think my shoes are to blame. I bought Brooks Ghost 14 after consultation at a running shoe store (Fleet Feet), and the pain started the first time I ran in them. I should have just returned them right away but have stupidly continued to run in them because they feel so good when I’m running. The pain comes afterwards usually

Anyone have/had peroneal tendonitis? I haven’t been to my doc yet, but I’m pretty positive I have it. 

 I was running in some old Asics before with no problem, but ironically wanted to buy good running shoes to prevent injury.

 Let me be clear. I LOVED the Ride, at least for iso 1/2. Firm stable and responsive. Lasted about 300-400 miles or so for me

 The reason I won't buy them again is not particular for the Ride, but to shoes in this weight class (8-10 Oz) in general. They don't do anything particular well. For my easy or long run days, I would now choose a max cushion shoe, otherwise a speed shoe. Really don't see the point in between since I've got a rotation

I said "probably", because nothing is absolute. Just want to talk about some shoes that I ran in  before that either I don't like them or loved them before but feel ready to move on from them.

Today was the first stride repeat training day since purchasing the Endo's and boy oh boy was it a great time! 

.. in my time out I continued running, but only recently after setting my sights on a Halloween 10k as well as using a Garmin Training plan, have I taken running seriously enough to incorporate an actual training regimen and designating shoes for each training type.

 It can be quite deceptive that you feel great, but uh yeah. You need to make sure you keep up those good routines, so you can keep on running like this. Today'S session, yeah probably should tell you about that. You know it's really important

 Let'S go [ Music, ] foreign, hmm, [, Music, ], some really excellent, running there and really good to get consistency back into running, doing some of those mini sessions and well, we've got some big goals coming up which we'll be showing on the channel of course. So the reason why you're here this thing here, the adidas adi zero adios 6 - is let's go through a little few of those base stats for you. It'S got a 34 millimeter heel and a 22 got a 32 millimeter heel and a 24 millimeter four foot, giving it an eight millimeter drop from heel to toe so in the midsole they've, completely stripped out all boost and they've replaced it with the light strike pro. This stuff here, which is like super cushy and in the back, it's just got the light strike

 So now it feels like a good time to be able to give a full and honest review. But let's do one more keep living session: [, Music, ], [ Applause, ], [, Music, ] free! So when you start to run again after some time off - and you start increasing that duration, distance or intensity - and you have that feeling that everything feels great everything feels wonderful, don't forget to do those routines, those strengthening routines. It can be quite deceptive that you feel great, but uh yeah. You need to make sure you keep up those good routines, so you can keep on running like this

 Obviously, a little few things sorry to interrupt you mark, but you forgot to mention that grip is durable, the grip is great, but because they perforated it to make it look cool. Maybe now, if you're running on gravel or any surface, that has lots of little stones, as you can see here, it picks them up and retains them in here previously compared to like the adios fives. It didn't have that. Actually, i think this is a bit of a design fault

ADIDAS ADIOS 6 REVIEW

 So thank you to them for that [, Music ]. It comes to fit. I was very happy true to size uh in the adios 6. like actually

 In my normal size, like i said, i do have a narrow foot, so i like the kind of sleek kind of torpedo-ish design there. I have enough room in the toe box, but yeah the you know. People with wider foot might struggle a little bit as kind of always being the case with adidas's adios shoes, so obviously you're a little bit late to the party. With our review of the adios 6

 Just because it was surprisingly comfortable, like i'm a heel striker, and i was obviously worried that the big light strike chunk. There was going to be a bit clunky on the run and i would say i'm not. I don't really dislike live stream. I know a lot of people, don't like this foam at all, but i actually don't mind it that much

 You know, towards the back of the shoe there covering the whole midfoot, that's kind of basically a hard piece of plastic. That'S been in the adios line for a while to create a kind of snappy transition and then another common feature from kind of old out of your shoes is the continental rubber outsole. You see there's a little bit of exposure. A little exposed light strike pro, which could be a bit of a risk, but i've not seen any signs of kind of you know of that wearing down at all, but yeah you're getting continental rubber outsole, which is fantastic grip, really reliable and long lasting

Adidas Adizero Adios 6 Review: Better than the Boston 10?

 Comfortable running in, though. I ran 2 half marathons in them on top of varying distance runs from 5k to 15k and had no aches or pains caused by the shoes.

 In this midsole we've got two different foams. Now we've got light strike and we've got light strike pro the light strike pro. You can kind of see it on the bottom and on the side of the shoe. Is this kind of like puck of premium foam material? That'S toward the forefoot, where you're going to be landing on some of your faster runs and that's encapsulated and carried by the light strike

 The rubber in here seems to be very, very thick, and it also seems to be very dense, so that does a couple of things one. It turns out to be make this a really big, like rock magnet so like. I ran a little bit on some crushed limestone and like there's just tons of like little tiny pebbles in here, not a huge deal. I don't feel them, but it is kind of collecting a strange number of rocks and this torsion system design

 You can kind of see it on the bottom and on the side of the shoe. Is this kind of like puck of premium foam material? There'S also a torsion system in this shoe, which is kind of this wishbone shaped piece of plastic, and initially the torsion system for adidas was something that was just basically meant to prevent the shoe from twisting around too much kind of in this direction
