Specifically when tackling kale, the juicer managed a low average juice extraction percentage of 25.1 (based on amount of remaining pulp, juice extracted and initial ingredients). That's the worst result among my test group of five centrifugal juice extractors with the typical ranging between 40 and 50 percent.

 In either case the machine does a great job of holding back the inedible bulk so even high pulp really is mostly pulp and not rind or anything else. This juicer probably isn't right for you if you like *no* pulp, but I can't think of any counter-top juicer that can deliver no pulp.  It comes with a flip up spout, so that I can "turn off" the juice flow while I switch cups, which is a thoughtful feature.  Overall this appears to be a very well made, well designed appliance

 It appears very strongly constructed as well, and the juicing cone itself is made of chromed cast iron it seems - very hefty.  Operation is very quiet and the motor appears extremely powerful, running at very low rpms and seems to have no lag when I press down on the fruit.  Cleanup is great also - after juicing I remove the entire screen, bowl and cone as one unit, rinse them in the sink and set them out to dry. I haven't noticed *any* juice getting into other parts of the device, so I don't need to wipe down the machine itself after usage, which is great

I bought this citrus juicer b/c I have an abundant grapefruit tree in my backyard. I had previously been using a manual press which was wearing out and I decided to try a major upgrade to this electric juicer.  I've only used it for a little while, but my impressions so far are extremely positive. I was very worried that this device wouldn't work well for very large fruit, but this machine handles my extra large grapefruit easily and could probably juice a pomelo!  I was also worried that this machine wouldn't extract as much juice as a manual press, but it seems be more efficient than my hand press

  Cleanup is great also - after juicing I remove the entire screen, bowl and cone as one unit, rinse them in the sink and set them out to dry. I haven't noticed *any* juice getting into other parts of the device, so I don't need to wipe down the machine itself after usage, which is great. It's also possible to eject the "reverse cone" that presses down on the fruit, but so far this piece doesn't seem to get dirty at all during use. The machine comes with two screen thicknesses so you can choose (approximately) between medium or high pulp content

Well made and suitable for large grapefruit

 Easy to use. Easy to take apart and clean. I use the top rack of dishwasher to clean the removable parts with good results. The strainer that comes with the unit filters out most of the pulp

 Using a small spoon I fish out some of the pulp from the strainer after about 6-8 oranges, which takes little time and effort. If I find problems with this replacement item I will add to this review. February 2019 .

Easy to juice oranges with

I am new to juicing. I knew that if juicing or clean-up took a lot of time, I would not do it, despite the strength of my initial resolve. I also knew that if I had to put the juicer into a cupboard and take it out again, I would not use it for long. I needed a juicer that:  1) quickly made juice; 2) was easy to clean; 3) looked good on the counter

 The substance probably won't kill you - at least immediately - but since I am doing this for my health, I thought why in the %$#@ would I juice the peels? I am simply too busy to peel citrus before juicing.  This juicer did not disappoint. It is great looking, quick and easy to clean. It is also very quiet

 My stepson hates pulp. I just put a bunch of the pulp into my juice to minimize waste and get the citrus juice I like best.  A 16 ounce taller mason jar fits perfectly under the spout. I prefer the taste of juices in glass containers, rather than plastic or stainless steel

 OMG!!!  At this point I just want my money back.  The juicer isn't that great either, you can only do about three juices at a time because the fruit starts getting jammed and you have to wash all the parts to do a new one.  I don't recommend this machine!!! I hope I do get my money back.  I feel frustrated about all this happening!!!

The blank cone over rotates and plastic auger brakes twice in 5 times use

 look up how long juicing shelf life is. look up other companies/brands and where they source their plastic and labor. all that being said, i found that the OMEGA J8006HDS was the best fit for me and my needs. the price is worth it too for the warranty - not every brand offers that warranty

 not too many knooks or cranies for food to get into, so pretty much you just rinse every piece and its good to go. fast cleaning.  do your research. look up differences btwn masticating and centrifugal

 Welcome to my channel. My name is Lina. My passion for cooking made me decide to share my delicious recipes with you all.

 I'm going to tell you everything about it including how to assemble it and how you can use it.

 First off, I do love it. I've had this for about a year and I basically use it almost every other day.

 It's super easy to assemble and you can use it for so many things if you do want to make juice. So it's basically a juicer.

 The good thing about it is that it's super easy to assemble. You can use so many vegetables, fruits, whatever you like.

 However, the only downside I would say is that you do get a lot of pulp.

 And if you're the type of person that feels bad about wasting all that pulp, then it may not be for you.

 But you can always use the pulp for your soups or you could put it in cakes. For example, the carrot pulp can go in cake.

 Okay, so let's get right into assembling. So I've got five pieces here. So go ahead and you could start with this piece here.

 So just put it in and make sure there's open and close sign here. So go ahead and close it.

 Okay, so after that is assembled, you have two other pieces. So go ahead and place this one in.

 Make sure you hear the click and then this one's under it.

 And then this is the next piece. It goes right in here. So there's an open and a close. Make sure you put it on close all the way.

 And then last piece is this optional. It's kind of optional. So you can go ahead and place it right over here.

 And then we got the containers that come with it. So this one is for the actual juice and this one is for the pulp.

 So I've got a few types of vegetables here and I have apples here as well.

 So this is just to show you some of the things that you could juice. But this juicer can basically give you juice for everything.

 So I've got carrots here, apples, I have beets, ginger and salad.

 Okay, so go ahead and start with, I'll show you the carrots first. So this piece also comes with the juicer itself.

 This is to basically push the fruits or vegetables. So I've got, you can use this to place it here or not.

 Go ahead and place it in. And then there's a button here and you could use this button to turn it on.

 So I have quick checked the vegetables because it just makes it a lot easier and smaller is better.

 But you can make it bigger if you like. You can even put a whole carrot in it.

 As long as it's thin enough for this whole to fit the vegetables or fruits in there.

 One of the downsides for this is that you do have to pre-cut. Like some of the juicers you don't have to pre-cut.

 You could just wash, for example, a whole apple and put it right in. But for this one, you do need that time to pre-cut.

 So that's our carrot. I'm going to show you the celery as well.
