Hi guys! this is the Breville Je98xl juicer. We're going to test it by juicing some kale, carrots, oranges, and apples, but before we do that, let me tell you about some of the features of the juicer. Comes with this assist plug which is a great design because it's easy to plug in and remove. It has 850 watts of power, comes with a jug to collect the juice, and it holds about one liter or thirty four ounces

 We have a beautiful bunch of organic red kale and organic green kale and they've both been washed so we're going to choose the kale on the low setting. We were only able to get a little bit of juice out of the two bunches of kale and I have all of this pulp. So I'm going to try to reduce this and see if we can get any more juice out of it. So we reduce the pulp from the kale and we got a little bit more juice out of it

 The feed chute is three inches wide so you can juice some fruits and vegetables whole That'll save you some time on cutting up the produce. That's two settings: the low speed is for softer fruits and vegetables like melons and leafy greens, and the high speed is for harder fruits and vegetables like apples and carrots. The cutting disc is stainless steel and so is the mesh filter basket for spinning out the pulp. The body is very sturdy and all the materials that come in contact with the food are BPA free

 Like I said before, it has this large chute in here and then right here is the strainer with all the blades down here. it has a lot of different blades and they are really sharp and they do go in different directions right down here which is great for getting the most juice out of your fruits and vegetables. and then we have this piece down here. This is the chute that your juice comes out of so I'm just going to put this all back into place and I love that this is so easy to assemble so you can see we're done

 So the takeaway from this juicer is it is going to juice your fruits and vegetables super quickly. You're not going to have any issues with things like carrots and harder fruits and vegetables, and if you're going to be using it daily, I feel like it's a really great option. I can already tell this is not going to be hard to clean um like some other cold press juicers for example. So if that works for you, I feel like this is a really great option

 It doesn't work for everybody. I like to take this end piece over here where all the scraps go, all the pulp goes and I like to put a plastic baggie in here. Um, that way you can put it in your compost, You can put it in your garden or whatever you do with your pulp and your scraps. Um, that way it's a lot easier to clean up for this section of it

 All right. So this is a centrifugal juicer, which means that has a spinning blade which breaks down the fruits and vegetables to extract the juice. Something that I really like about centrifugal juicers in general is that they juice a lot quicker and they're usually easier to clean to start out. I just this is something that works for me

 4. I took the advice of other reviewers and put a hard fruit or veggie in first, then packed in my kale and spinach then put another hard fruit on top. My best results were when I put the hard fruit on the bottom, packed the greens in mixed with a juicy fruit like a little pineapple, orange, tomato or lemon, then put a hard carrot or celery on top. I got the most juice with the least pulp using that technique

  There has also been little to no froth, so the froth separator works well.  Cleanup is fairly easy given what it does. It is easy to flush those out though with the faucet sprayer and/or a baby bottle/nipple brush

 Basically I wanted something quality, quick, easy-to-clean, not horribly expensive, and didn't produce a ton of foam. I know centrifugal juicers are pretty much entry level juicers, but I don't really juice enough to justify spending so much money on the masticating juicers. This model is a great entry level juicer though from my experience.  The build quality is pretty solid with no small parts prone to running away

 I've cut the kale, apples, and carrots and this seems to be working fine in the juicer so it took about 20 minutes to prep and juice two apples, five carrots, and one big bunch of kale. As you can see, the pulp is really dry, so that means it got most of the juice out so you can see the juice and there's not that much foam on top. it's a very little amount of foam. It's less than the centrifugal juicers

 It weighs about 16 pounds and it looks good so you can leave it out on the counter. I Know people are concerned with the power of a juicers motor, but it depends on how the power is used. I've had this for about a year and I basically use it in almost every other day. It's super easy to assemble and you can use it for so many things if you do want to make juice. so it's basically a juicer. The good thing about it is that it's super easy to assemble

 This is to basically pushed it through stored vegetables. so I've got you can use this to place it here or not. go ahead and place it in and then there's a button here and you could use this button to turn it on. So I hope we check their vegetables because it just makes it a lot easier and enough for this but down

 You don't even need a lot of pressure so make sure you don't put too much pressure, better wipe it into the pulp so you want to kind of let it do its own pushing and if it doesn't go down then you can go ahead and put a little bit pressure so don't put too much pressure with this. Pretty easy to wash. So I've got ginger here heads and then all this. Here's our weeks: If you'd like to do the celery juice in that a lot of people like these things, this is a great juicer for it

  i decided to return this as i felt that juicing was not for me. i am a very healthy person - been vegan for years, run marathons, great diet and exercise. i take herbs and prefer natural medicine. i bought this juicer with the hopes of adding extra vitamins to my life to treat anxiety, better sleep, and more energy

 however after more research, i felt that taking the fiber out of the fruits and veggies wasnt the best for absorption of the sugars and certain vitamins. i what i wanted was a new diet every day method, not just an every-now-and-then activity. i dont think juicing every day aligns with my diet philosphy, or goals. so i returned it

 not too many knooks or cranies for food to get into, so pretty much you just rinse every piece and its good to go. fast cleaning.  do your research. look up differences btwn masticating and centrifugal

 cleaning it isn't terrible. there are YES a lot of pieces, but i found it a lot easier to clean than the centrifugal juicer that i had. not too many knooks or cranies for food to get into, so pretty much you just rinse every piece and its good to go. fast cleaning

 It also plugs up pretty fast. Find that if I mix softer stuff followed by firmer it is almost self cleaning for a while.
