 It turns out that the motor has an overheat cutout that shuts down. After unplugging and waiting and hour, it works again. None of this obviates the need for a stronger motor. And my first juicer failed completely

 I'd also ask for a way to attach the receiving container so it can't slip away. I'd ask for it somehow to take up less storage space. I'd ask it to grind the pump a bit so as to get more in the juice. OK, while I'm at it, I'd ask for it to cut the fruit and put it on the reamer for me, then take out the garbage

 (A third hand would help.) It may leave a bit of pulp in the rind, but very little juice gets left. The machine stays in place on the counter.  If I were looking for perfection, I'd ask for a larger reamer for grapefruit

 I'd ask it to grind the pump a bit so as to get more in the juice. OK, while I'm at it, I'd ask for it to cut the fruit and put it on the reamer for me, then take out the garbage. ;-)  I occasionally see the question of whether it can juice anything but citrus. No, it can't

I have two other citrus juicers, including one with a handle, and a Cusinart I just got which has no handle. The Breville costs way more than the Cuisinar ($24)t, and probably doesn't juice much better than the Big Boss ($116), but the Breville feels so much better to operate, a superior experience, intangible advantages, like an expensive sports car. I'll keep the Big Boss as an emergency back-up, but the Cuisinart, no handle, is strictly for those who don't care about giving their palm an uncomfortable work-out, or who think it's not worth the dough to get a handle juicer.

I had another citrus juicer that required I press down hard while the juicer spun around. I make a pitcher of juice at a time (we have a lot of citrus trees) and after a while my wrists and hands would ache. I don't have arthritis, it just required consistent, long-held pressure to extract the juice. Plus, it was noisy - couldn't listen to music or watch tv while juicing

 It got to where I didn't want to make juice. I had finally had it and went looking for another juicer and found this Breville model. Wow! What a difference. It's very quiet and FAST

 Wow! What a difference. It's very quiet and FAST. Whoosh, Whoosh, and the orange, grapefruit, lime is DONE! It's actually FUN! The handle makes juicing a very comfortable process and there's something so satisfying about watching the juice pour out of the little spout. The strainer and juice-catcher below it are much larger than my previous model so I don't have to flush it out as often - so the overall time it takes to juice 20 oranges has gone way down

It'S a finer pulp, because the machine is more efficient at grinding things up, so that if you do not see or sip out your juice leave the fiber in there. It'S not as detectable as with other juices, so in general, it'll be less and also when you drink it, it's less detectable

 So though this versatile cleans, the easiest of any vertical slow juicer makes high quality juice, backed up by a company that has been in business in the United States selling juicers. Quiet, nice looking horrible 2 take apart to clean Fiber comes out the chute nice & dry but once U stop juicer pull off the top U can see lots of very WET fiber, Suction hold the auger i making it difficult 2 pull out, hard 2 grasp on 2 it. Have 2 clean it out between my juicing time,2 clean it. Have 2 make things line up, does not just slice in and done WAY @ MUCH WORK 2 JUICE .  Right out the box it already comes assembled except for the very top so that helped to orientate assembly per the manual to make I'm aware how it fits together. I appreciate that the pulp and juice catch containers are STACKABLE, takes up less space in my pantry. As far as cleaning for sanitary reasons, any juicer requires some level of detailing. This unit is probably in the middle between one that cost 10x more with "less" cleaning and the cheaper models with more moving parts and/or design inefficiencies

I couldn't wait to try this until now....

 The big positive here is the actual juicing process is super fast. You just pour in the chopped celery or produce into the chute and it self feeds. No "baby-sitting" I have not had any trouble with things getting stuck or the juicer struggling. I also juice ginger, turmeric and oranges for immunity shots and mango banana sorbet with frozen fruit that you thaw for 10 min

 The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think this product should include a straining scream to place over the juice bucket for those who do not prefer pulp. This is something they have on many of their other products that should be an option here also.
