I have just become aware of some of the public tracks on the app "dumbells only WoD", "fitness WoD", and "performance WoD". These tracks are all free to BTWB subscribers and are excellent for GPP. I think online programming is usually lacking in coaching, each one of these wods has a video brief going over the workout, the strategy, the movements and intended stimulus. It does not feel like they are just mailing it in and throwing a WoD on the wall with no guidance

I've been complaining about rust on my black oxide vulcan curl bar but I totally get the advantage of black oxide now - it is far grippier and feels a lot like bare steel. Combined with a more aggressive knurl the vulcan bar feels a lot better to use but oiling it once a week still isn't stopping rust coming through in the cambered areas. I'm soaking the Vulcan bar in WD-40 now per their instructions so hopefully that will stave off the rust for a while (though it hasn't before, so I'm not that hopeful).

With the pullup extender, all you really gain is a little clearance from the door frame and a wider array of grip adjustment, which is nice, but not a deal breaker. It does cause a little flex in the vertical as the bar is dynamically loaded (about 1/4-1/2 inch, 180 lb dude), but nothing threatening the security of the bar. My wife wanted to lose some baby weight after our second so we paid for a UK based fitness trainers diet and exercise plan, got it for £50 in a sale. It told her, for her height and weight, howuch of a meal she should eat, gave us hundreds of recipes and also explained when to eat what meals (like having the main meal straight after the days exercise etc). She lost a lot quite quickly.

Pros: - Both curl and straight bars provided - 80lbs total weight with option to upgrade to 120lb - Compact size for the weight range available - All tools and parts provided with clear instructions for installation Cons: - Plastic tabs to hold the plates together - definitely concerned with durability considering they tried this with their dumbbells and had to go back to the metal tabs - Adjusting the weight cradles for the final step was time consuming and frustrating (if not adjusted correctly, weights don’t lock or unlock easily when placing or removing the bar) - Stand is an upgrade for $200 but I feel should be included as standard in the current package Overall works well and is great for a home gym. My only concern is the durability of the plastic tabs that lock the plates against each other. With 80-120lb and regular usage not sure how long these will hold up. Overall installation took me about 45min with clean-up and unboxing

Have had it for a month now and I am very pleased with this purchase. This pull up bar is versatile and very well made. Instead of worrying about whether this pull up bar will fit one of your doors rest assured that it undoubtedly will.

I'll continue battling through it until I feel I've gotten my grand back. Then I'm driving over the nearest bridge and tossing the entire system, stand and all.

I highly recommend this for anybody who wants to seriously get in shape and wants serious equipment!
