The Bose TV Speaker is the best of the bunch, and at less than 24 inches in width, it can easily fit under your TV stand without blocking the screen. It may be small, but this premium setup can still get loud enough to fill the average living room. It's ideal for listening to vocal-centric TV shows and music, with balanced mids that ensure voices and lead instruments are clear and detailed in the mix.

Of course, without a sub, you notice a lack of bass in the mix, and the 2.0 setup doesn't provide a very immersive sound with surround sound formats like the 5.0 Samsung HW-S60A. While there's a bass adjustment feature on hand, this bar doesn't offer as many sound enhancement features as the similarly-performing Sonos Ray, which is another solid small pick. The Sonos' room correction feature automatically optimizes audio reproduction based on your room's unique acoustics, which is a premium feature for its price. It doesn't reproduce as much bass as the Bose, but if you want more customization tools, it's worth a look.

If you don't have a lot of space in your setup, a small bar like the Bose TV Speaker is a good alternative to our top picks. At under 24 inches in width, this premium-looking bar fits easily into your setup. You can connect it to a computer monitor, but with its HDMI ARC and Optical inputs, it's still designed for use with a TV. Despite its small size, it's a noticeable upgrade over standard TV speakers, and its 2.0 setup makes it ideal for listening to stereo content like music and TV shows. Its balanced sound means that voices and lead instruments are clear and present in your favorite songs, and you don't have any trouble following the on-screen action in TV shows.

Like most small soundbars, the bar can't reproduce the deep thump and rumble in the low-bass. It's not a big deal if you're mostly listening to vocal-centric content, like sitcoms, podcasts, and documentaries. Fortunately, the manufacturer sells compatible subwoofers, which is nice if you change your mind down the line or move to a larger space. Unlike the Vizio M Series M213ad-K8, it doesn't support Atmos content. There are also some customization tools on hand to switch up its sound, though they're limited. The Sonos Ray is a good alternative if you want something with more enhancement tools, like room correction, but it is a bit more expensive.

If you're looking for a more affordable option, consider the Bose TV Speaker. It's a well-built 2.0 bar that's less expensive than the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) and may provide a better value if you mostly listen to stereo content like music and TV shows. Right out of the box, it offers a fairly balanced sound, especially in the mids, where most voices and lead instruments reproduce. As a result, dialogue in your favorite shows is clear and easy to understand, and you can enjoy detailed vocals and instruments when you listen to music. Naturally, since it's a standalone bar, you don't get much rumble in the low-bass&mdash;but you can always add on a separate subwoofer to improve bass reproduction, which the manufacturer sells separately.

The bar isn't quite as impressive as our top picks with movies. While it can playback some 5.1 surround sound formats like Dolby Digital, since it's a 2.0 bar, it has to downmix this audio into stereo to play it. The resulting sound isn't very impressive, and it seems like audio is simply coming from a speaker placed in front of you. There's no Dolby Atmos support to take advantage of more immersive object-based formats, either. However, if you aren't a movie fan, this might not make much of a difference. If you already own products in the Sonos ecosystem and want a small bar with a similar performance, you can also check out the Sonos Ray, which is available for roughly the same price. However, the Ray lacks a little low-bass compared to the Bose, so it's not ideal for everyone.

 I would love to add a bass component but there doesn't appear to be a cost effective one for the quality. That's okay. The biggest issue is that I hate the volume button having only a + or - option. I prefer a number so I can determine what number is ideal volume for the environment and not have to press press press that volume button so many times

Not bad for a lower level Bose speaker

 Overall, it's definitely a nice upgrade over the original TV speakers that we tested. We didn't also try this with just music. And again, the sound quality was good. We did notice a bit of distortion

 Hey guys, Taylor here with another product review. And today we're talking about the Bose

 TV speaker. Now if you've recently upgraded your TV and you're a little bit disappointed with the

 sound quality, you may be interested in purchasing a soundbar. Basically a good soundbar will really

 increase your audio quality and give you that full home theater experience. Bose does offer a wide

 variety of TV speakers. But today we're going to be looking at one of the smallest speakers that

 they offer. The Bose TV speaker is the successor to the Bose solo five TV. And it's basically a

 more compact version. But with this small size, a lot of people have been wondering if it's still

 a good product and still produces the high quality sound experience that Bose is known for. So today

 we're going to be diving into some of the benefits and features of the Bose TV speaker and seeing

 if it might be right for you in your particular situation. And as always, I will leave links to

 the Bose TV speaker down in the description below. So you can check it out there if you're interested.

 I'll also throw a link to any deals or discounts that I might find that might not be available on

 their website. So feel free to take advantage of those as well. So starting off with the design

 inputs and features. Bose is definitely known for using premium high quality materials on all of

 their products. And the Bose TV speaker is no exception. If you've seen their soundbar 500,

 it's got a very similar design with similar materials used. You won't find any of the premium

 tempered glass available in some of their more expensive units. But again, for a unit of this

 size, that's pretty normal. Now, as we mentioned, the Bose TV speaker is incredibly small measuring

 just 23.4 inches by 2.2 inches by four inches, and it has a combined weight of only 6.61 pounds.

 Now a great benefit of this is it's so small that it can fit anywhere you want under your TV.

 You can also easily place it inside a cabinet or more confined spaces. The Bose TV speaker does

 truly give you a ton of options. The speaker has nice straight lines, beautiful rounded edges,

 and the front side is covered by a single perforated aluminum grill. And the whole thing

 is finished with a beautiful matte texture. The soundbar itself doesn't feature any built in

 buttons whatsoever, which means you'll be using the remote as the main means of control. There's

 also two LED lights featured on the front that flash in a variety of different colors to indicate

 different functions of the unit. Now in our case, we found this a little annoying just because it's

 a little difficult to memorize all the different light combinations to understand what your speaker

 is doing. But if that doesn't bother you that much, then it may not be a very big deal to you.

 You soundbar also has a very low profile. So there's no reason for any IR repeaters to be

 included. And that keeps the cost of the unit as low as possible. The cables are also grouped in a

 single inset on the right side, keeping everything nice and neat together and making cable management

 very easy. Overall, the design is simple, but it is very good quality. It'll look sharp under any

 TV or home theater setup. Now let's talk about the internal hardware. It has a simple 2.0 channel

 system with no additional drivers for Atmos or side firing woofers for surround activity. But

 the unit does use two oval full range driver sitting in the middle, but locked at an angle
