Boker Kwaiken Flipper Knife Titanium vs Hogue Sig Sauer EX-02 Spear

I'd been eyeing this knife for quite some time and when I saw that they had come out with the flipper option & VG10 I was sold! I consider this a gentleman's EDC knife and as such only carry it in the evenings or to a nicer event. This is not a knife to bring camping and split branches with, although I'm sure it would perform flawlessly due to its solid construction and VG10 steel; yet there are better options for that type of use. The opening action on this knife is silky smooth due to the IKBS bearings on the pivot. Centering is dead on

I have had no chipping, rolling or other issues. Edge retention is good. The black blade coating does not chip but wears off slowly in hard use. Mine is still mostly black

Bad Ash! Well worth the hundred bucks! I have this Ti version and the Cf version (much lighter) and cary one everyday. Smooth as silk bearings, quality fit and finish, beautiful design. I love knives, but not enough to spend a week to a months pay on one (at least not yet). This, by far, is my nicest factory made knife

While the knife is good, I'm not quite sure the price to value is equal. Don't let the 3 stars dissuade you from from buying, I still like the knife and it is fairly sturdy but, I've bought other knives in this price range that were much nicer. Hope this helps?
