The big benefit is that I scheduled the purifier to run on Medium when I'm not in the room (which happens to be my office), and then turn back to Auto before I return. When I get back to my office the air smells and feels noticeably better than the rest of the house. Plus being able to tell alexa to turn up the purifier just seems cool. It will be more useful when I stick a second one of these in my daughters room and I can turn it to low for white noise without having to enter the room

This is a simple conversion that would be very easily done by any smart phone. More importantly, the graphics capabilities of smart phones would greatly enhance the utility of the data by revealing nuances that would escape examination of discrete data packets. Finally, the use of Bluetooth and smart phones would eliminate the cumbersome interface and provide a time stamp with the data.

That means if it’s in a child’s room and child knocks something into it, it could dent or damage the filter itself resulting in the need for a replacement. - Without constantly referring to the manual it’s difficult to know what setting it’s on. Air filters with a 13 MERV rating, cheese cloth over air vent, a room purifier. I would never have believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. Great product. I am now taking it to every family members home to help them as well

BUT-it is loud and after I changed the filter the first time, it developed a chronic rattle as well. Now the filter has to be changed monthly, which gets expensive. I wouldn't mind the expense so much if it didn't rattle constantly.
