Blueair 7710i Air Purifier vs IQAir HealthPro Plus

My allergist's office has one of these in the waiting room, so I assume it does its job very well. The problem is getting it to do its job. Blueair, with this purifier, has gotten the hard stuff right and the easy stuff totally wrong. Set-up is a nightmare

The unit is very quiet on the middle and lower speeds, and not bad on the higher speeds. This Swiss-made air purifier appears to be very well made. The materials and construction appear to be high quality. It is an expensive item, but if you live in a region where there is year round pollen, dust and mold, and you are allergic to it all, this is definitely worth the investment

So much for Swedish design elegance. I'll probably invest in some kind of LED attenuating adhesive plastic, or just put a strip of tape over it. Anyway, it's basically a great machine that seems to clear the air very well, but I think that the engineers geeked out over the controls, and currently there is no visible sign of support.

If this can be remedied with a firmware or app update, I'll gladly give the two stars back. Air purification: We have a cat that uses the clumping litter, so some of the litter dust is inevitable in the house even with the 99.9% dust free litter from Dr Elseys. Our overall air quality isn't too bad, but since we spend most of the time inside the house (thanks Covid!) I thought this would help

This mean you likely want to keep that area clean so you're not clogging the filters ahead of schedule and you probably want to use the wheels to increase the height/allow more airflow. I returned this and bought the Pro L instead. Fewer features but a lot more quiet and moves more air, that’s a win - win as far as I am concerned. Oh and since the Pro models are on now on sale it was cheaper too!!!

I bought it to use in my office where I like to smoke cigars. I can confirm it’s very effective at quickly getting rid of smoke and odor. It’s much more powerful than my old Okaysou Airmax8l. I was also getting tired of replacing filters so often in that air purifier

These units are new to the market so time will tell if Costco sells replacement filters. Blueair customer service is in America so the reps are knowledgeable and speak well enunciated, articulate English. Well worth the money.

They where easy to get a hold of and great to deal with. Had the new part in the mail the same day. I want to further explain why I gave this machine only 4 stars. Two reasons; for the price of this machine I believe the housing should be of a better quality and for the price I feel they could have baffled the sound to get it quieter

We live in the Central Valley in California, which is prone to dust from farming, fire smoke and pollution from the highway. It’s like night and day in our house compared to being outside. Both kids have asthma and this product keeps them from coughing and from having asthma attacks at night. I just wish we’d bought it a lot sooner

I've only had the filter for a week so I can't say that I've experienced any immediate changes. I've limited the filter to the bedroom since that is where my doctor recommended it since I have trouble sleeping due to not being able to breathe. Since getting the filter we've had this crazy storm blowing in from the west that's just been kicking up a ton of sand (I live in a desert area) so I'm sure all the sand blowing around isn't helping. However, usually when this happens I'm a sneezing miserable mess and so far I've just been a little stuffy at night
