 You know, boy, I wish the Rustler had a little more of that fall line carving ability of the Bonafide. Not even so much the edge grip, just the ability to kind of arc across the fall line at high speeds. The ski does it and it does a pretty good job of it, but you know, coming from my own background where I used to race a little bit, that's something I'd miss and I would definitely wish for a little bit more of that. But having said that, the Rustler is so much friendlier and more playful of a ski, more lively, lighter in actual weight and in spirit than this new direction of the Bonafide and Brahma

 I just don't think you're going to be as happy with all the edge grip of the Bonafide going forward into 2020 fall compared with the Rustler's very credible carving performance. It's not a carver, it's not its thing, but it does a good enough job to where I don't find myself constantly wishing for it. You know, if I could have everything and not compromise, yes, I would pick up a little more of the carving chops of the Bonafide, but the Rustler just makes me happy. So I remain a huge fan of the Rustler

 And we're going to wrap up our look at the Blizzard catalog with the Rustler 10.

I ski fast because I paid for this lift ticket and I paid for these stance 102's and by God I'm going to get my money's worth

 These skis handle powder conditions pretty darn well, especially in the way that they stay composed and they track really well. These aren't going to get deflected. They hold their line really, really well. Really strong, really good vibration damping, so nothing's going to throw you off your course

Really cool ski from Salomon and how it blends stability and power and vibration damping with a long rocker profile. Not something that you see a lot of, so kind of positions itself as a unique ski, which is always really cool

 So two sheets of titanal metal in this ski, vertical sidewalls, sandwich construction, it's a burly build, full on ski. They do remove some sections of metal, thus the twin frame name, so they remove these little windows of metal and instead of metal in that section they put their CFX fiber. So a combination of carbon and flax fibers woven together and then placed into this portion of the ski, that allows them to retain stability and energy, responsiveness, while also taking a little bit of weight out of the ski. This 183 is still 2120 grams, so it's not like they're super light, but having those little windows or the twin frame construction does result in a little bit lighter swing weight

 The Stance line in general was designed to complement Salomon's existing QST line. So if you're familiar with the QST skis, they're more focused on freeride performance, soft snow capabilities, some people use them as kind of hybrid alpine touring and resort skis. The Stance line on the other hand are designed to be more powerful, more stable at speed, thus they're a little bit heavier too and just a really good collection of skis. It's very, very well designed to better complement Salomon's existing models
