Temperature

Keep your magnifying glass close so you can read the dials

My biggest complaint - the dials controlling temperature and time. The round dials are OK, but the lettering is so tiny. If I had to do it again I would buy one with a digital control panel. And, l have to admit this thing has not proven to be the answer to upping my cooking skills

Overall a Great Performing Air Fryer with a Couple of Cons, Not a long lasting product

- Temperature controls were spot on, always hit close to the degree you set it to, produced a GREAT product, foods were cooked through and nice and crispy on the outside. There were a couple of foods we preferred to continue to deep fry, but most often we found we actually preferred the air fryer version, french fries for example.

Cooking Time

Food turns out great! But....

I've had this for over a year now and ready to review. First, I love how it cooks - most everything has turned out great although it does take some trial and error on your temp and time you really just need to keep an eye on it. The size is perfect for me as I am a one person household; it would probably work fine for a two person household as well but for a family go for a larger model. I only have two criticisms of this model

they turned out nice. I also tried Grands Biscuits

It did work well, biscuits were brown and crispy. The only thing I don't like is that I cannot see the temperature setting because they are so small. I'm going to put a magnifying glass close by! LOL! I baked the flaky Grands biscuits again to day the air pulled off the top of two biscuits, this morning put to mini bagels in, opened the basket and there was only one, then the second one dropped down! Powerful air going on in there! It's pretty loud, but I do like it, holds a lot more then the small one I had. For the price I would recommend except for the very tiny temp

In 48HRs logo comes off?

I received this unit Friday night and set it up. Sat. I made the German pancakes for breakfast, then for lunch I made the Avocado Fries and then I made the Cheesecake. The next day when I was making roasted potatoes for breakfast, I noticed that the logo just above the basket is already coming off, its not a big deal but I am surprised and hope that this doesn't reflect the quality of this product

Frying Basket

The basket will not stay fastened inside the pan when I shake it to stir the fries, chicken strips, etc. So the hot food ends up all over my hands and arms, countertop and floor. This air fryer is now in the trash. Too unsafe to even give to GoodWill

UPDATED REVIEW/dropping stars

UPDATE: Dropping this appliance down to 2 stars from my original 5 star review below. I got this air fryer end of May, it's mid July and as of yesterday the non stick coating inside the basket is flaking off as you can see from the pics The basket is gently cleaned with mild dish soap and a soft nonabrasive sponge, everytime! I am so disappointed because I was loving this airfryer so much I was going to purchase a second one. Not anymore. Now I have to go through the trouble of contacting this company directly to see if I can get a replacement basket because there is no contact information here on Amazon
