 This feather-weight vac features a removable hand vac which I’ll admit I did not test, only because I have a portable (cordless) hand vac that I love. There are two reasons I only scored this vac with 4 stars instead of 5: #1 it comes with a narrow tube attachment that I cannot figure out how to attach it to the vac, and there is nothing in the directions for it. And #2 the cord is only 12 ft long. That may sound petty and nitpicking, but the stick vac I replaced this with had a 20 ft cord

 It works great on my carpeted stairs, and I have medium pile carpet on them. Everything detaches and attaches with ease, no struggling figuring out how to remove and replace the filter.  No debris shooting at my legs, no suction issues at all. It vacuumed dog fur up, crumbs of cereal and other debris that you’d normally expect a vacuum to get with no clogging. And for how tiny it is I expected to need to stop more often to empty the canister. But nope

This is a great little sweeper and the price fits my budget. Anyone who has a back problem will appreciate that it’s true to its name and is featherlight. It does a very thorough job on my vinyl tile and heavier scatter rugs, as well as my hardwood floor. It is easy to empty and doesn’t take up very much space in my closet

Lightweight and good suction

I would only recommend this for small apartments or dorm rooms since the vacuum doesn’t hold too much dirt. I was surprised how small the vacuum was in general; again good for someone like myself who doesn’t have much storage space. The suction power on carpet is okay, like others have said you may need to run it a few times over the carpet. There is no special button to turn it on carpet mode

 My main complaint is that the motor makes a scary sounding noise when the vacuum is on an uneven surface. If your floors aren’t level like mine, you’re in for a treat!

 This head is supplied also with Henry and Hetty machines. This is a plastic based cleaning head in my opinion. The other machines I've tested in the pneumatic family that use this particular carpet and hard floor. They didn't perform better than the old nozzle that you used to be able to get

He's also one of the last cleaners to be made in the United Kingdom So by buying James or any pneumatic cleaner you are supporting British Industry Okay as the plus point, of course he does perform ok, is not excellent at all tasks, but he's good to average
