Bissell Featherweight 2033 vs Hoover ONEPWR

Of all the vacuums we've tested, the BISSELL Featherweight Stick 2033 is the best lightweight vacuum cleaner for elderly users since it places such little weight in the hand while in use. This corded upright feels incredibly lightweight, making it easy to maneuver even in tight, cluttered spaces. It has a simple bagless design that's very easy to maintain and incurs virtually no recurring costs.

Also on a good note the design allows to vacuum under furniture and get into tight spaces! You pay for what you get.

Its simple design also makes it easy to maintain, as the few parts that need regular cleaning are very easy to access. As long as you clean its dust cup filter and pre-motor mesh filter regularly, you shouldn't need to worry about recurring costs.

There are better choices out there. The Bissel Lynx is lighter, easier to manage has great suction, and is no mess cleaning it out. Everything easily drops out. No need to stick you hand into it to clean it out

Also, this vacuum has a very short power cord, so you might need to swap outlets when cleaning larger rooms. In addition, parts of its all-plastic construction are somewhat flimsy, especially its wheels, dustbin cover, and main handle, which feels like it could snap if too much pressure is applied. Still, the vacuum's portable design, impressive ease of maintenance, and affordable price help make it one of the best cheap vacuum cleaners we've tested.

4. Buy a separate battery, the battery lasts only one or two uses and you will have a more enjoyable experience if you have a charged battery at the ready. I honestly got better function out of a shake sweeper, but those types of unites don't seem to be made anymore.

. except they don't do as good on baseboards as robot vacs with the spinning brush sticking out do. The outside edge suction isn't that great but they get everything that matters

The + feature (this seems to be a suction boost) is the only feature that actually causes any suction on solid surfaces but drains the battery so fast. It works fine on my low pile rug with the brush heater going. It is incredibly difficult to change attachments - especially removing the handle from the long hose. It takes quite of bit of strength to get the pieces apart

I'm always amazed at what I empty out of the little canister & what washes off the filter. GREAT suction, very efficient, stands right behind my door & no one knows it's there.😉

Direct air or dirty air machines like the Hoover Onepwr Hepa+ and Kirbys air and dirt go through the motor then into the bag. Since the bag is placed after the motor there is no need for an additional filter Hepa or otherwise but many direct/dirty air machines use their outer bag as an additional layer of filtration. As to why they don’t call all their bags Hepa is probably to simplify marketing.

It does get fur on hardwood, dust, light crumbs, and general dirt things pretty effectively. And it doesn't have this issue when you're using handheld or nozzle mode. The LG A9 has better filtration but if you want a cheaper option check out the Hoover Onepwr Blade Max currently $275. I don’t think it has a wall mount but it has a swappable battery system so you can add another battery for more run time.

This little stick-vac packs a huge punch for its size and weight. If you have any bare flooring in your home this will tackle it NO problem. It works great on my carpeted stairs, and I have medium pile carpet on them. Everything detaches and attaches with ease, no struggling figuring out how to remove and replace the filter

So for the record I live a lone no children in a 1200 sq ft house that is half carpet half hard wood floors. I was able to sweep one bedroom on carpet mode in speed mode before the battery died then had to swap the second one in so I could finish dusting with the attachment. The actual power of the vacuum is strong it did the job but one thing that was driving me nuts was the end attachments spin when locked into place? So if your dusting with the extended reach in the corners of a wall or steps it will keep pushing the nozzle around if your not being super corrective in what your doing. All around this is a bad buy IMO and I'm going to do a return on it and spend the extra on a Dyson

This is a great little sweeper and the price fits my budget. Anyone who has a back problem will appreciate that it’s true to its name and is featherlight. It does a very thorough job on my vinyl tile and heavier scatter rugs, as well as my hardwood floor. It is easy to empty and doesn’t take up very much space in my closet

The Hoover Onepwr Blade+ is an ok vacuum with a very good battery system. Not mind blowing power but it has a price that really makes it a strong value.
