I was looking at a Dyson V11 Absolute because its easy to clean, and wireless. And also the V11 is on sale for $699 CAD right now.

In addition, parts of its all-plastic construction are somewhat flimsy, especially its wheels, dustbin cover, and main handle, which feels like it could snap if too much pressure is applied. I opted for the Dyson V11 Animal, but I’m sure there are other cheaper models that are similarly effective. Before this, I had a really clunky corded stand up vacuum. It cleaned just fine, but it was so heavy and clunky that it was difficult to get the stairs and it was just generally a pain to lug it from room to room.

. except they don't do as good on baseboards as robot vacs with the spinning brush sticking out do. The outside edge suction isn't that great but they get everything that matters

I feel like it takes me 3 hours to resolve these each time and it is never easy. Suction drops and I basically have to use stop my cleaning and wash out the filter and wait for it to dry in two days . I feel like I'm at the point where I can't clean my house in a single session without cleaning my filter. I already dislike cleaning and I almost feel like I have PTSD with vacuuming because it never goes well so I put it off as long as possible and by then it's pretty bad which compounds everything

I'm always amazed at what I empty out of the little canister & what washes off the filter. GREAT suction, very efficient, stands right behind my door & no one knows it's there.😉

For some reason all of the dust goes directly into the filter. Some goes into the main container. Shake and tap the filter out and it still has issues with suction. Something is wrong as I would not think having to rinse and clean the filter daily is indicated? It requires 24 hrs to dry so what do you use in the meantime? I am going to check and see if I am still within the return date

It does get fur on hardwood, dust, light crumbs, and general dirt things pretty effectively. And it doesn't have this issue when you're using handheld or nozzle mode. When emptying the bin, I just shake the dust and hair off the sponge. The exhaust filter which is behind the main unit handle was never even a little bit dusty or dirty, which means that the main fine dust filter does its job well. All the filters and the bin are washable, supposedly once in a month but I already did it twice because I like it clean. The whole stream of exhaust air goes around the battery and PCB unit and keeps it cooled

This little stick-vac packs a huge punch for its size and weight. If you have any bare flooring in your home this will tackle it NO problem. It works great on my carpeted stairs, and I have medium pile carpet on them. Everything detaches and attaches with ease, no struggling figuring out how to remove and replace the filter

1, the switch why can it be held in or be a lockable switch? try to do some cleaning where you might use a flexible hose and the crevice tool? you have to keep one hand on the switch and try to stretch your other arm way way back behind say a desk or other object to try to get into places.. So you can only get as far as your 2 arms can reach while holding the power switch down. 2 This unit is way off balance I have lambert eaton syndrome and this puts the full weight right on my wrist
