As some other reviewers have indicated, it does take a few passes to vacuum up as much moisture as possible. Would have rated this product higher had it not been for the false start. We don't consider the pump issue being related to shipping damage; there should be better quality control to ensure this kind of defect is addressed before product distribution.

This is our second carpet cleaner, and it replaced a Hoover Steam Vac. The attractive feature of this unit is the removable portion with the hose. They sleep. We work. They have always and continue to go out at least 8 or more times daily or whenever they sit at the door and whine. Love 'em, but now we can live easier without "never disappearing" pet stains

Filling the clean is fast and easy and dumping the dirty is even faster with less parts in the way that could break or wear out. Just make sure you vacuum good first and you should have no problems.

I found it was not hard to push at all (I have a really bad back too) and as for bulky, not at all! For the work this does and not having to continually having to fill and dump water tanks, I found that the larger tanks, which hold more, are much easier on my back. Instructions are to make one back and fourth pass dispensing the cleaning solution and a second with the suction. I had the best results going over the area with two passes of the suction. When I was finished the carpeting looked great. I was really impressed

While this exact model isn’t still for sale, Bissell still sells carpet sweepers for between $20 and $40. Easy to clean and simple to use.

I was able to clean the whole upper level of my home in a few hours and it was amazing! As of right now the floor cleaner works but the attachment has absolutely no suction. I can't even get it to suck water off a tile floor. There is a suction gate that says to clean regularly; for as much as I have used this machine already the screws to take that gate off are getting stripped. It started out great, but I need to be able to use this EVERY time the puppy has an accident and as of right now the detachable portion is useless to me
