Size

Great alternative to deep frying

The only thing that I would complain about is that you can't fit much at a time when you are trying to "fry" an item because they have to be spread out on a single layer and its annoying to pull out each item at a time because they stick to the basket. :(

Was taken by this "package deal."

They are a default accessory pack for many other air fryers and do not fit the whole of the basket. I tried a couple of them and to be honest the air flow usually just pushed the food off of them. This isn't a horrible unit and I still use it but don't be too quick to think this is some wonderful deal. I'm not impressed and would have gone with another product if they allowed me to return this

Temperature

Mixed feelings - Slow to cook - Bulky

Fish is a quick easy meal as a rule, but not with this device. Maybe it's the manual's instructions that need some adjusting on time/temp. I had no luck cooking, after 35 minutes. I cooked at the recommended temp then began turning temp up every 10 minutes or so

It's bigger than I thought but I love the extras

so I have to learn from the cookbook, maybe, because they use bigger portions, therefore the temperture and timing is everything. I am still learning and making notes. But I love my big red color air fryer it just lights up my kitchen

Cooking Time

the HOTSPOTS are on the outer area when food is low in cooking area

I like to add some water in the bottom of the glass as someone else suggested for bacon. This can help cook the chicken more evenly. Use a meat thermometer after to double check the temps. Times will vary with how thick the meat is of course

Coating comes off, small

The times to cook are WAY off. Like 2 or 3 TIMES to short. Just chunk it. It’s completely useless

Nonstick Surface

Excellent Appliance!!

I recieved this for Mother's Day this year, and I have NOT fried anything in oil since I got it.. We have used it for chicken and wild turkey and french fries and even warming up cold pizza.

This model has a greater cooking capacity than any other of the air fryers. At this price point it's an exceptional bargain compared to other brands. So, we ordered a some culinary mesh deep fryer baskets from WSS and the DH cut off the handles. Basket Fall Apart

This continued for the first two months of use but did not effect the operation of the fryer. Suddenly after four months of use, the fryer basket and pot began to separate unexpectedly without warning. We have dumped several baskets of French fries on the floor because of this defect. Thank goodness no one has been hurt

If you are like me, loves the fried food but want to be healthy, the big-boss is your solution :)

There many different preset settings but you also have the ability to choose the temperature and time to cook. My family does a lot of cooking in this amazing appliance. Ita so easy to put something in and let it cook until the timer goes off. Not bbn only is it easy to use but it's so much healthier than frying your food in a pan of grease!

Power Usage

It Doesn't Fry & It Doesn't Cook

It might be a pretty good oven if it actually worked longer than it takes to write this review, but it is not and never will be a substitute for a fryer.

Worked great, but...

We were very disappointed since this air fryer was used more than our oven. Overall it was a nice air fryer, however it only lasted 1 year and 8 months before being thrown away. I will most likely find a different brand for my next unit.

Big Boss oil-less fryer

I bought a box of brownies tried going by the cooking directions but had to stop it 10 minutes earlier so it would not burn. but they came out really good,. I would have to say the best I have ever made. They were cooked all the way though even it the center of the pan

Loving it so far - Great for small batches

When I've tried baking these things in my full-size convection oven, they often come out soggy, so this was a huge improvement. The basket and tray are very easy to clean, and the non-stick coating looks durable..
