Hey bladeops, honestly, it's actually kind of a sad day at the knife shop. We got word that benchmade is discontinuing the 32 balisong. So here is the box. The benchmade 32 Morpho blue class is no longer going to be produced by benchmade, so whatever we have left in stock is what we have left

 This bow alone does not use Tang pins; instead, it has two pins in the handle pin on this side. Okay and a pin on this side. You see here these two pins and basically the butt end of the Tang. You see how it's that design there the pins kind of line up in between on either side of this point, two things which I like about this

 Okay. So if I do happen to do any flipping footage, all I'll just put it in here. Well, I read some of the specs. The specs overall is just blade length here is three point: two five inches blade thickness is zero point

 They look very very nice they're, not super smooth those liners on the edge. You can see a little bit of machining on there, but as for the anodizing, it stays there really really. Well, they do a good job, anodizing the liners and the pocket clip on both my 51 and my 32. I'Ve had relatively nowhere in the anodizing, so that's good! You can see here the skeletonized g10 handles they take off a tiny bit of weight, not much

 This is not a stainless steel, but for being a for not being a stainless steel, it is pretty corrosion resistant. So from what I've heard, it's pretty well just like one step away from being stainless, but I do prefer a stainless for ballast songs, a little bit less upkeep, but for the d2 you're also not going to have to sharpen it as much. It'S got a harder steel. Obviously, what you're going to hold the edge a little bit longer, but it's also going to be a little bit harder to sharpen, as well as you're gon na have to make sure it's oiled, just maintain it, so it doesn't rust

 Obviously, the way they temper it it can vary a little bit blade style crown modified spear point weight is two point: seven ounces you've got a pocket clip which is laser engraved titanium. It'S movable forgot to mention that only in a tip-up carry, but you can put it on either side of the bike handle only on the bike handle not the safe handle overall length.  I think it's fairly priced. I like the handle more than I thought i would, but the blade is lower quality than some of my cheap knives. My son, though, was incensed when it picked up burrs on the blade during some simple carving of pine sticks and the point of the tip broke off when he tried to gouge a small hole in his carving. This is definitely not a bushcraft knife despite some of the reviews that call it just that

 Note, the tip of the carbon blade was barely finished, and had rough lines in it. My carbon knife now is just shy of a true mirror finish, razor sharp and it seems to be holding an edge alright. It just took me a couple hours of work to get it the way I want.  The stainless one is much thicker, noticeably heavier in hand, and in my opinion worse

 it really snaps tight and snug in its sheath. It stays put in it better than almost any other fixed blade I own with leather or cloth type sheath. No, it did not come "Razor Sharp" and I do not care as I hand sharpen every knife I purchase regardless of its "Pedigree" to my standards. I spent 20+ years in the military and was in the field the day I returned for home, and I would have loved to have had this blade as one of my back ups throughout my service

 It is light weight, easy to sharpen, it is now razor sharp, it can clean game and fish easily and can be used for light camp duties. If I were in the field and my life depended on this blade I would choose it over many others that I have owned over the years. These Are Great Knives, I Got A Lot More For My $ Than I Expected!

Swedish brand Morakniv has never been a particular favorite of mine. I’ve never been much for the fish cleaning look all of their knives remind me of. This is a much stouter blade than that, but it still has a cheap, plastic appearance that is very much off-putting, subjectively. That said, there’s no disputing that, for the money, Mora is hard to beat

 But for those wanting to ensure the grind angle isn’t altered even slightly, from shoulder to edge, some 3,000 grit or higher paper or stones will be needed to really see what this blade geometry is capable of, as well as to keep it there after use, along with subsequent stropping.  Updated to include pictures.

 I presume it was a combination of the extremely light weight and the edge geometry, as in each wood type I tried, I just couldn’t bury it deep enough to reach the straight upper spine.  But for slicing, a full scandi grind is fantastic! If you need a blade designed more for bushcraft, the heavy duty companion, which doesn’t cost that much more, might be more to your liking. The Mora Garberg is their most popular bushcraft blade. But it falls into a price range that has a lot more serious competition for your dollar from the likes of Kabar, Schrade, Gerber, RAT, and others

I companion it with my similar-length saw (Silky Folding Landscaping Hand Saw GOMBOY Professional 210 Medium Teeth 121-21 ) and my hatchet (Fiskars 375501-1001 Hatchet with Sheath, 14" ) and have never had a problem

Amazing camp knife. Razor sharp right out the box!

  I know the sheath comes in for some criticism, but it fits the blade nicely, seems tough enough not to get cut through if you fall with the knife on you, and fits tight enough that the blade doesn't fall out, so I have no issues with the sheath. The handle is very comfortable. I have a large hand, in fact I have two of them, and the handle of the Companion is broad enough and thick enough for me to hold it happily. Actually, I can recommend this to people with arthritis because the handle is so rounded and easy to hold

I love a bargain, and at the regular price, this knife is a bargain. I've wanted the Companion for a long time but I love a bargain, so I kept watching the price and watching the price and when I saw it at $9.99, I jumped on it. It arrived today, razor sharp and polished beautifully
