Hey bladeops, honestly, it's actually kind of a sad day at the knife shop. We got word that benchmade is discontinuing the 32 balisong. So here is the box. The benchmade 32 Morpho blue class is no longer going to be produced by benchmade, so whatever we have left in stock is what we have left

 This bow alone does not use Tang pins; instead, it has two pins in the handle pin on this side. Okay and a pin on this side. You see here these two pins and basically the butt end of the Tang. You see how it's that design there the pins kind of line up in between on either side of this point, two things which I like about this

 So you have see if I can explain this. I kind of went over this in the other video to the technologies that they use for this. One benchmade calls next generation kick or pin technology and basically the the actual liner itself, the titanium liner. It'S I guess, um, it's split in the lower district

 I think that's pretty cool looking, but also in the closed position. You have somewhat of a point here, which is a good, improvised impact weapon. Okay, you can use this if you have some now basic pressure, points and stuff like that, you can keep your knife closed and for self-defense, you know, use this. You know a non-lethal manner

 I had a three inch blade. I was awesome, I carried it forever. I end up selling it and now I miss it because they're very hard to find, but this was a perfect replacement for me. I really liked the upgrade in materials and design said that that's it that's the my review of the 32

 Okay. So if I do happen to do any flipping footage, all I'll just put it in here. Well, I read some of the specs. The specs overall is just blade length here is three point: two five inches blade thickness is zero point

 They look very very nice they're, not super smooth those liners on the edge. You can see a little bit of machining on there, but as for the anodizing, it stays there really really. Well, they do a good job, anodizing the liners and the pocket clip on both my 51 and my 32. I'Ve had relatively nowhere in the anodizing, so that's good! You can see here the skeletonized g10 handles they take off a tiny bit of weight, not much

 This is not a stainless steel, but for being a for not being a stainless steel, it is pretty corrosion resistant. So from what I've heard, it's pretty well just like one step away from being stainless, but I do prefer a stainless for ballast songs, a little bit less upkeep, but for the d2 you're also not going to have to sharpen it as much. It'S got a harder steel. Obviously, what you're going to hold the edge a little bit longer, but it's also going to be a little bit harder to sharpen, as well as you're gon na have to make sure it's oiled, just maintain it, so it doesn't rust

 Obviously, the way they temper it it can vary a little bit blade style crown modified spear point weight is two point: seven ounces you've got a pocket clip which is laser engraved titanium. It'S movable forgot to mention that only in a tip-up carry, but you can put it on either side of the bike handle only on the bike handle not the safe handle overall length. Seven point: two: nine inches clothes length is four point: three nine inches sheath material sheath is sold separately. You do get a little pouch

 Even on the larger knife the sheath has no natural retention thus rattles around freely without having to constantly strap on the very cheap feeling snap and the hard plastic cup/liner inside the sheath doesn't come close to fitting correctly thus unless you are looking at how you are putting away your knife you can easily miss the cup and start trying to slip the knife between the cup and the outer nylon layer that makes up the rest of the sheath.  I collect knifes but haven't bought any in several years and after this disappointment I looked at other Buck fixed knifes and found that they to come with what appears to be similar sheaths that I fear share the same issues of poorly designed sheaths that tarnish what are otherwise excellent knifes.  If there was a separate hard plastic/kydex sheath that I could buy for this knife that actually fit properly and held the knife without a strap I would gladly invest in one.

 However the sheath that came with both this knife and the smaller version that I also bought is simply unacceptable coming from Buck.  Both the Bucklite Max and Small knifes use the same exact sheath right down to the part number. Great knife absolutely terrible sheath

Arrived sharp , the finish is not as good as more expensive Bucks but for the price I am happy !!! The nylon sheath is not bad but I will find a nice leather one at the next gun show . I expect it will be a good everyday carry knife .

 I can get my pointer finger about an inch away from the tip, making it feel very controllable. The shape of the blade also looks like it will be very good for this application. I have a Buck 120 General with 420 HC steel that I use when I'm camping, and I can say that this steel holds a great edge through a lot of use, is not impossible to sharpen, and greatly resists corrosion. The knife is a lot lighter than I expected

 I love the classics, and will always prefer Buck's DymaLux handle with the brass pommel and guard, but this is a very high quality functional knife for the price. If Buck keeps making knives of this quality for this price over my lifetime, it is unlikely that I will ever invest in knives from another company.

 The rubber handle seems very durable. It is soft and grippy, but not squishy or sticky; kind of like a new tire. I love the classics, and will always prefer Buck's DymaLux handle with the brass pommel and guard, but this is a very high quality functional knife for the price.
